Youth Renu Recovery Eye Cream Review – Is it a scam?

Youth Renu Recovery Eye Cream Review – Is it a scam?

Youth Renu is an eye cream that claims to help “brighten and repair for more youthful eyes”.

Now, for anyone trying to fight the signs of ageing this claim will likely make you think about giving this trial offer a chance. After all what have you got to lose?

While this claim is no doubt impressive you should always look for proof before rushing to sign up for an offer.

This following review will look at this product in more detail and will tell you whether it is worth signing up to or not.

Please read on to discover our findings.

Claims made by Youth Renu

According to the website, users of Youth Renu will experience the following benefits:

  • Restores hydration and plumps the look of skin
  • Diminishes the look of fine lines and wrinkles
  • Reduces the appearance of dark circles
  • Decreases the appearance of puffiness

After reading these claims no doubt you are even more tempted by this offer, but please hold on. We will soon look at the ingredients used, which will give you the proof you need of the claims, or not.

Ingredients found in Youth Renu

Youth Renu has listed its ingredients, which include the following:

Water, Acrylamide/Sodium Acrylate Copolymer, Mineral Oil, Trideceth-6, Hydrolysed Rice Bran Protein, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Protein, Oxido Reductases, Passionflower Extract, Lemon Extract, Grape Extract, Pineapple Extract, Glycerin, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium EDTA, Potassium Sorbate, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5, Phytonadione (Vitamin K), Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract, Aloe Vera Gel, Ergothiotaine

While nothing really stands out as extraordinary, there are certainly ingredients present that may offer some benefit.

Of course, as there is no dosages present we can only presume that some benefit is offered.

Price of Youth Renu

You may think that Youth Renu as it is being offered for trial would be cheap or even free, but this is not the case.

The reality is that this offer is expensive, with a charge of $89.97 to be expected at the conclusion of the 14 day trial period.

As Youth Renu operates an auto-ship program that you are automatically signed up to this wont be the end of the charges either. Each month thereafter a new package will arrive that of course will need to be paid for.

Is Youth Renu a scam?

There is likely to be some benefit to this product, but with its high cost and use of auto-shipping we cannot recommend it.

With so many alternatives with similar or better ingredients at a more affordable price, there is little option but to recommend you look at one of these instead.

To cancel the auto-shipments you will need to contact Youth Renu yourself. You should use the following contact information to do this:

  2. I just called to cancel. Lady told me that if I continued, I could get it for $55. I asked if it would include the one they had already charged my Visa for. No, for future purchases. Really? Well, cancel me then.

  3. My husband ordered 3 items for me as a joke for Christmas. I am 71 years old and was shocked when it came not knowing anything about it. He thought it was (and stated in add) only $4.97 per item. We were charged on our billing $300.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! With
shock he finally got a hold of someone to talk to and they went the rounds until he
said he would call the Better Business Bureau . They pointed out that the cost was in the
add but it was hidden in very small print. Finally they took the huge cost off but now
I received another jar in the mail and I did not even order it. It was taken out of my
account again. This is a scam. I use coconut oil on my face and I don’t need all this
other cream!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’ve tried to contact them again, but to no avail! I’m very concerned about this.

    • I ordered the “free no risk trial” for $4.97. I noticed my account had been charged $89.97 and called the company to stop the order. I apparently did not read the tiny print of auto-re-order. Buyer Beware!
They will continue to charge your account monthly for the $89.97. I played hell trying to get them to stop the order. Thieves and scammers is correct! Do not order this product!

    • I had to cancel my credit card. I have a email that says I have cancelled and yet they continue to send it and bill me for multiple products. I looked over the terms before getting the samples and there was no mention of the sending more and charging, they have added that afterwards, i am certain of it! You should cancel your card. notify you bank! they will give you a new card with a new number. These guys are criminals!

  4. Be sure to read their terms. If you do not call to cancel within 14 days, you will be charged the full price of the small samples you received. I did not like the way it made my skin feel and tossed away $180 worth of product – that is the price of the “samples” you receive for the price of shipping only. Also, they did not wait 14 days – they assessed the charge in only 10 days. Thieves and scammers – beware!

    • Everything you just read in the above comments are so true. Why can’t they be closed down? There was no 4.95 trial, that was just a leader. Before you know it you have a charge of almost $90 on your credit card. BEWARE of these thieves!!!

  6. This is a total scam. They managed to upgrade their modus operandi by going to Facebook and offering samples from Macy’s and the only thing you pay for is shipping of $5.97 for one product and $4.95 for the other product. They lure you into their scam by asking you to answer 4 questions before you can receive your “Christian Dior”sample products. There were no mention of 14 day trials, they did not send Christian Dior but youth renu, there were no terms or conditions presented that you have to agree on and yet they claimed everything is written there. For one thing nobody knows what samples they’re sending so how are you going to even search for the terms and conditions for these products. You’re getting samples and the only condition presented to you was the shipping charges. Then you get the shock of your life because they managed to finagle your credit card and start charging you $176 for 2 small products under rejuvenating serum and resilient eye cream. You’re credit card company gives you their number that you never got from the company and when you get to talk to them they are rude and blatantly refuse to refund your money even when you offer to return their unused product. When you tell them that there was not even 14 days to try it because it will take about 4 days or more to receive the product they’ll tell you that the trial is actually 10 days because it includes the time to ship it. Are kidding me? There should be a class action lawsuit against this company and the companies that practice these fraudulent activities.

  8. I called to cancel the shipment when the trial did not work for me. I received a confirmation that the account and shipment would be cancelled. 2 weeks later a shipment of Eye Cream and Face Cream arrived. I checked my credit card and sure enough I was charged for both products, $186.88. I called to have the charge removed and I was told that the account was cancelled after the shipment was sent. I was told that the account was cancelled and no shipment sent. Coincidentally it was charged and shipped on the same day that I called. I went around and around with the young lady that answered the call in customer service. I insisted on talked with a manager, she put me on hold and left me hanging! No one ever picked up. I finally talked with a “Supervisor” named Luis. He said I was out of luck. He also said and I quote “don’t care because it’s not coming out of my pocket”.

  11. THIS IS A SCAM! You need to IMMEDIATELY call the credit card company of the card you used and CANCEL YOUR CARD. This will avoid future charges and they will assist you in getting your charges credited.
