Home Remedies for a Wrinkle Free Face

Home Remedies for a Wrinkle Free Face

Home remedies often date back centuries and there are a number of remedies that people use for wrinkles. You can often use these alone or in combination with other products to enhance the wrinkle fighting abilities.

Explore the various home remedies for a wrinkle free face and choose those that best work for your needs.

Olive Oil

When it comes to wrinkles, olive oil is one of the most powerful anti-wrinkle remedies. It contains vitamin A and antioxidants, and it also works to hydrate the skin.

To use this remedy, gently massage the oil into your face using a circular motion. This helps to work the oil into your skin so that it is able to fight wrinkles from deeper within the skin.

In addition to helping to alleviate wrinkles, it also ensures hydrated skin and it promotes the regeneration of skin cells to keep your skin healthy and youthful.

Aloe Vera

Aloe vera contains a substance called malic acid. This natural acid has the ability to improve skin elasticity and this reduces skin wrinkling and looseness.

Use only fresh and natural aloe as the processed options do not have the same benefits. It is best to retrieve aloe right from an aloe leaf and apply this to your skin.

Once you coat your skin in fresh aloe, allow it to sit for 20 minutes. After this time, use lukewarm water to rinse it away and then apply a good moisturiser to add more hydration to your skin to further prevent wrinkles.

Ginger

Ginger is best known for curing your nausea, but it is also a good remedy for helping to reduce wrinkles. Use fresh ginger, grate it up and mix it into a paste so that you can use it as a mask for your skin.

Drinking ginger tea can also help to promote youthful skin from the inside out. Ginger stops elastin breakdown in the skin so that your skin is less likely to wrinkle. It also contains a high level of antioxidants which helps to reduce certain types of damage that can encourage more skin wrinkles.

Bananas

Bananas are high in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals, making them ideal for fighting wrinkles. You can eat bananas and apply them topically to reap the anti-wrinkle benefits.

Smash up a fresh banana and turn it into a paste so that you can use it as a face mask.

Apply the full smashed banana to your skin and allow it to sit for about 30 minutes. This allows the nutrients in the banana to soak into your skin and start reducing your wrinkles. Use lukewarm water to rinse the banana away and then apply a good moisturiser to your skin.

Carrots

Carrots are rich in vitamin A and this nutrient is one of the best ones for improving your skin and fighting against wrinkles.

Eating carrots helps, but applying them to your skin is even better because it helps to smooth your skin by promoting collagen production. Boil carrots, let them cool and then smash them up into a paste.

You can also add honey to the mixture to help it mind and stick to your skin better. After allowing the carrots to sit on your skin for about 30 minutes, rinse them away with lukewarm water and apply a moisturiser.

Start with one of these remedies and then add in others if you feel that more is necessary. This allows you to get started with an anti-wrinkle skincare regimen.

Make sure that you also use these remedies as part of a good and complete skincare routine for the best results.

  1. I am now looking at yor suggstions and will try the ginger one. I have recently spent a lot of mone y just trying to look a little younger, but at age 72 this may be a little late. They never had any treatments or creams in my younger days, so maybe, other than a facelift there is no much we can do. Any suggestions, but please no more SCAMS. I as very surprised that the Govt of Canada and United States do not list this as a No 1, though there are others just as important. I feel this is VERY IMPORTANT! wANDA- gUERIN-bRYNES.
