Is the Replennage Anti-Ageing Face Cream trial a scam?

Is the Replennage Anti-Ageing Face Cream trial a scam?

Replennage Anti-Ageing Face Cream promises to help you “achieve visibly younger looking skin”.

How does it work though? And are there any hidden charges we need to be aware of.

We can see that this product is available for trial, which is often a bad sign. Previous trial offers we have reviewed in the past have turned out to be auto-ship programs.

Claimed benefits of Replennage

Replennage claims to offer the following benefits:

  • Smooth look of stubborn fine lines
  • Restore your radiant, firmer looking skin
  • Brighten skin’s appearance

When looking at products it is important not to get carried away with claims. It is always best to look for proof.

What does Replennage contains for instance? Are its ingredients likely to benefit you skin?

Ingredients of Replennage

The 3 ingredients that have been mentioned on the Replennage website are Vitamin C, Glycerin and Cucumber Extract.

As there is no label present there is no way of knowing the quantities of each ingredient, or if there are any others present.

While some benefit is certainly likely, whether we would recommend Replennage remains to be seen. We would first need to look at what its price is.

Price of Replennage

Unsurprisingly the cost of Replennage is a lot more than you would expect as a trial.

The initial cost is just £3.95, which is reasonable enough, but just 14 days later you will be charged a quite unbelievable £89.95.

Not only is this expensive, but 14 days is surely not enough time to see much of a difference to your skin.

The final issue with Replennage is that signing up to the trial also means that you have signed up to an auto-ship program too.

This means that you will continue to be sent packages each month along with the bill, that is until your subscription to the scheme is cancelled.

Would we recommend Replennage?

There is very little to recommend about Replennage. It is very expensive and there are a few doubts that using it will provide you with the benefits it claims.

My suggestion would be to look for a more cost-effective alternative.

Contact details for Replennage

You can contact Replennage using the following contact information:

Phone: 0800 909 8492
Email: customerservice@hhb-marketing.com

If you have signed up for this offer then please leave a message below. I am sure others would love to hear what you thought of the trial.

Alternative to Replennage

Our suggested alternative to Replennage and one that comes highly recommended is the Evolution Slimming Anti-Ageing Skincare Bundle, which contains an Antioxidant Cleanser, an Anti-Wrinkle Eye Serum and an Anti-Wrinkle Creme.

Using these products together will certainly help:

  • Give you vibrant looking skin
  • Gently cleansed skin
  • Reduced appearance of wrinkles and puffiness around the eyes
  • Smoother and more firm skin

This package is available for £49.99, with no hidden or repeat charges. This is because this package can only be bought outright from Evolution Slimming, there is no trial available.

  1. I do think it a scam

I went into a photo on Facebook which looked like something about Kate and the Queen, it led to an offer for a FREE trial of Replennage.
I was drawn in and order the free trial, but had to pay for postage, therefore had to give my debit card details. After I entered this there was a flashed image which I thought showed a figure of £84.95. It then left the screen.
I was concerned so I emailed the company and said I did not want them to take funds from my bank account, apart from the delivery charge.
The company took £3.95 and £2.95 on 28th September and then took £89.95 and £84.95 on 12th October. As soon as I saw this on my bank account I phoned the company, but was told I was too late and they could not refund the funds taken. All they would offer me was a further supply at half price! I have not used the creams and would be happy to return them in order to obtain my money back. I am now concerned they will take more funds and make me overdraw again.
IT IS A COMPLETE SCAM how many more ladies have been scammed.

      So annoyed!!!

Be aware!! this is a “trial” that could end costing you more than £190!!!

yes, when you enrol in the trial you pay for the shipping only. BUT you should go back to them before the “trial period” expires other wise they will charge you the full price for the trial samples you received plus start sending you product EVERY MONTH – each cream, at full price is more then £80!!

oh.. and their sales are final, so not sure how you would be able to return you “trial” samples after you trialled them…

as if the cream is good or not…well, I still haven’t even received the trial samples! (issues with shipping not related to this company)

          • Oh God just happened to me. Fucking idiots they just take money from you. You will think that you pay just for the shipping and then guess what?? You ended up paying lots of money for shit.

          • I’ve been scammed too they took 6 payments from me in a week total fraud

        • i saw this free trial and applied for it paying the initial postage and packaging, they ten helped themselves to 89 pounds from my account. I called them up to complain and when i said yes i have received and item i thought was free they said we now have proof you have signed for this and that you have recieved the product so we no longer can help you with a refund. I replied with the bank and [police will be carrying out an investigation into why this has happened, they returned the full amount with a confirmation email… its a scam!

          • Hi Kim
I have just had £190 removed from my account. Did you let your bank and the police know?
I also do not have the company contact details to call them, they did not send me an email and there was nothing in the package when the creams arrived. All part of the scam so they cannot be contacted no doubt.

          • Hi Kim,
I am sorry to hear that you too were a victim with this false
            company.
I was also unaware that there was any signing to a contract when sending for a free sample. To my horror a package arrived today
with another 2 pots of this supposedly miracle cream and when checking my bank account found that £374 has been taken from my account since 4 th. Feb.I am devastated as I trusted that I
would only be paying postage for free trial creams. Please could you email the company address.Have told bank. Thanx Ju

          • who are rpskincare thats one of the names on my statement, antiwrinkle cream, plus firming cream all have been issued sums of money out of my bank account who are these people

          • Hi Kim
I did speak to a WOMAN OR MAN this morning on the free phone number. I have been given an address to send the product back to Cyprus. I have advised him/her that I have already sent this company an e-amil advising if they take any funds out of my son’s bank account, and that I have contacted Harrow Police Station and have spoken with the credit card company this morning who of course will put a stop on my son’s account. These calls obviously are from the U.S.A. I have been told that only £3.95 has been taken from the account and no other monies have, but the product must be returned. THIS SCAM COMPANY WILL NOT BE TAKING ANY FURTHER FUNDS, BUT PEOPLE DO HAVE TO ACT QUICKLY. SO DISGUSTING.
            Regards
            Jeanette

          • Did they return the money when you threatened police action? Surely the police can and will do nothing. Can we not get an industry ombudsman to stop these people. They were so rude on the phone, virtually calling me an idiot which is what I feel at the moment.

          • Me!!!
Am angry I received the product on Friday and today 89 eas take. From my bank I have been in the phone all day to the very agorant customer service team but no round will be given

          • hi i just called to cancel my order i placed a few days ago. They told me i have to phone as soon as i get the order to to get a RMA number and pay to send it back. Bearing in mind what happened to you, should i refuse postage or pay to send it back? I have told them i dont want it and will send it back unopened.I have been charged £3.95 twice and £1.50 twice by four companies so far and i have not even got it yet.By the time i pay to send it back it will cost over £20.00 for nothing.Oh the 14 day trail starts as soon as you order it. So have a great day.NOT

          • I have also had £190 taken out of my bank account, like many others I was taken in by the words “free” and ” trial”. I feel so stupid and above all angry that I have let someone do this to me. I have tried to contact them, but they don’t answer. This definitely a SCAM! Please don’t let it happen to you. I’m going to let the police know, will they do anything about it?

          • Similar experience but worse!! £630 taken from my account under different names FACECREAM RENEWCREAM, SKINCREAM RESTORECREAM, ANTIAGEING FACECARE , REVITA VITAGENE, HY SKINCARE. Would love company contact details if anyone has them as I am reporting to police. apart from 1st “free” pot which brought my skin out in a rash I have received nothing.I would not have used it anyway bu this is not just a scam it is theft! Phoned the company and they cant find my account (although they have taken these payments An employee called Michael G Employee ID 106883 refused to give me the company address and hung up when I tried to insist. I have already reported this to my bank Beware of any free cream trials.

I looked at my bank statement a few days later and 2 separate transactions of £3.95 then £9.95 had been taken out, i contacted them again as i had moved address but got no where the woman spoke to me in a terrible tone and basically told me to go back and break into the previous address to retrieve the parcel and send it back to them. I ended up having to cancel my bank account all together, but am contacting trading standards about this. I hope others will contact them too.

        • DON;’T GET THE TRIAL! I also had exactly the same problem. Took up both free trials. Was very surprised to find two full size looking ‘free trial’ jars of cream. The only worry was that there was nothing on the jars apart from the name and NO PAPERWORK?! I went away for a few days before Xmas and hadn’t even opened them. I placed the order 11/12/2015 apparently & was billed £84.95 on 25/12/2015 & £89.95 on 29/12/2015. I rang them 29/12/2015 also spoke to nice(ish) lady – Lorraine? Who informed me that all free trials get billed at some point & I WAS NOT entitled to a refund nor could I send anything back! I don’t have paperwork so am also going to go to Trading Standards or get advice from somewhere.

          • Apologies. There are ingredients On the boxes! However, STILL DON’T GET THE FREE TRIAL. IT’S NOT FREE,. I have contacted my bank & as soon as I said Replennage he laughed & said they’ve had lots of calls about this company & will be looking to get me a refund & do further investigations. I used my Debit Card to pay so am now waiting to see what happens.

        • I am another one being taken for a ride. I never even received anything and they took out £3.95 + £1.50 (for speed post which I did not request)
Ord er date 25th March … took money on 12th April and to my horror took £84.95 on the 12th April 2016
I spoke to a person called ‘Elizabeth’ not sure if he was a he, she or it!
I am so so angry !
I have sent 4 emails and have rang twice. The first time I was told by ‘Elizabeth’ that there was no link to my email address or post code. I was on the phone for 50 mins (it was a USA no) I eventually realized ! I spoke to a supervisor called ‘Tina’ who promised she would send a report to ‘Corporate’
Next time I rang’ Elizabeth ‘ told me I was ‘found’ on another system and the produce had been sent, when I told her for the umpteenth time I had not received anything she said she would report it to ….. yes you have guessed ! ‘Corporate’ …. THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE TAKEN OUT !

I am gathering information to give to the Trading Standards … this cannot go on this company is making so many peoples life a misery.
If you wish me to include your complaints, email on williaminabakker@yahoo.co.uk I will not rest until This company is stopped robbing us like this.
I intend to file a report at my local Police Station in the morning.

          • I have phoned the 0800 number tl get the address to send the trial back but all they said was they could not find my details and they would get in touch with head office who would email me with the address and needless to say they have not contacted me,I have been totally ripped off they’ve taken two payments from me just a week after I received the free trial, I have been to my bank to try to stop payments but don’t hold out much hope, has anybody got the address I can send this shit back to

        • This happened to me too. Like everyone else I felt really stupid and shocked. I only noticed the payments this morning, £190 pounds for a product I didn’t ask for, all because I was also taken in by the free trial. I also rang the contact number but only stayed on the line for 2 minutes in case it was going to cost a ridiculous amount per minute to hold. Does anyone know if it really is a free phone number? I phoned my bank who were very sympathetic, they have cancelled any future payments and have promised to try to get my money back. And I haven’t even received the product. I have emailed the firm to say I don’t want the product but I’m not sure if this will help at all.

          • Further to my previous comments, I emailed the customers services saying I didn’t want the cream and would like my money back. Two days later I had an email back saying I would receive my money back within 3 – 5 days. Then the cream arrived which was very poorly packaged and had a broken lid. I sent it straight back with a note telling them I had made a complaint. The company kept their promise and I received my money back on the fourth day, (yesterday). I was very pleasantly surprised as I expected to have to fight for it through the bank. It shows that it is worth asking.

        • I also have been charged £170 on my marks and Spencer’s account ,I have never had
any of this cream I am an 80Year old lady with poor heath and just cannot afford to loose

Beware all its a scam. 2 weeks is not long enough to know if it works and if you miss the deadline , you get a huge bill- as above :£190 for the two products! I’m devastated . I rang my bank and told them that the company had withdrawn funds from my account that I hadn’t agreed to. They put me through to a fraud section where I reported the company and the scam and the bank refunded my credit card and stopped further withdrawals. Do try and talk to your bank.

I received this today and ordered in good faith.

A FREE TRIAL IS A FREE TRIAL!!!!!

I wish us all luck in getting back every penny we lost, but for me, Im NEVER gonna use their creams etc., as they left a bad bad taste in my mouth after what they did to me. Its poison as far as Im concerned and I dont want it in my house. wish you ALL the very best of luck tho, but changing your WHOLE BANK CARD NUMBER (16digit one) appears to have worked wonders. When its on auto renew after expires etc., bank only ever change last two numbers. Scammers only need 13. So til new card completely, they will just carry on take take taking from us all Shame but True x

My credit card have said once it clear and is on my statement, then to ring them and they will stop the payment.

I just completed a survey and was told I could have these free samples for filling out the survey and would be charged just the p & p.

        • hello love. you’re obviously looking for a reply to this. i doubt if the woman did get her money back. they find it easy to TAKE not give back, i feel.the internet is NOT for free speech anymore, (and Il be surprised if you ever get to read this reply from me, because all stuff written in here appears to be ‘moderator-checked’ Makes one think the website owners are actually in cahoots with the scammers..when they wont let you write how you fel. Im trying to start a facebook page that i will NOT be ‘moderating posts’ in; where people WILL be able to leave a comment of how these idiots REALLY leave you feeling. I was in tears last night reading one of the comments in here from a pensioner, who bought to “try and make herself feel good” Makes me want to go and rip someones head off…Wonder how they feel if it was their parents being scammed.. it will happen to them when they get old enough not to be working anymore, and have to fend for themselves on a pension. They are “pure evil”
The ONLY way to stop them (and here is where we find out if the ‘moderators’ here are on the sde of the scammers) is instead of getting the banks to just ‘send you a new card’ MAKE SURE they change the WHOLE 16 digit NUMBER as the SCAMMERS ONLY NEED 13 of them.. That way, when they apply to your bank, give 13 digits which are the same as previously put into their system, your bank will authorise and they will get paid. When you change 16 digits, you are no longer scammed..cos you’ve changed details. REMEMBER tho. If you have to get REFUND DONT GIVE NEW CARD DETAILS. Give the OLD CARD details,, they refund to that, it gets held in your bank ‘frozen’ and applied back to your account within a couple of days. DONT FALL FOR “we’ll send a cheque” cos that WILL get ‘lost in the post’ (cos they aint gonna send it) and they can have you hanging for months like that…. BTW Once authorisation code has been given for them to take funds, they have UP TO SIX YEARS to do so. Once one company is DECLINED when asking, another one will step in and try.. CHANGE ALL THOSE DIGITS not just the two at the end… PLEASE TAKE NOTE PEOPLE and the BEST OF LUCK TO ALL OF US

          • This website is dishonest and with the free offer of the cream they milking the people. I saw the advert only when I open my internet I read it and I was interested to try the cream. They asked to pay only for packaging that was £3.95 and I paid it by my credit card, few days later the free product arrived. I tried it and I was not very happy with the product and as only I paid for packaging I was ok. Then when my statement arrived I saw that the amount of £89.95 was taken from my account that shocked me I called them and I was served by an unpleasant representative with whom I did not getting no where she was rude and put the phone down. They had my email address and like the other honest website they should inform me first regarding the payment but NOTHING.
I been shocked by the behaviour of female representative so when I went on line to their website customer service to complaint regarding the £89.85 and complaint about the rude person suddenly I saw ALL the complaints from so many people I realized then t I am not the only person but so so many in the same boat with me. Now I go to the Police and show them their website that it is FRAUD. And I will tell to other people that I meet about this scam to stop them to try the free trial.

    • I completely agree it is a scam. I have spent 20 minutes on the telephone with the customer service department to only have the same sentences said over and over again….. never actually answering my questions. On the website it says there is a 30 day guarantee, however the company are saying it is a 14 day trial period, and the creams are charged at full price. I was offered a 20% discount for further supplies when all I wanted was a full refund!! They have stated that they will NOT refund anything. I have gone to my bank and am keeping my fingers crossed that they will be able to do something. Something should be done about these internet scammers……….. The cream does NOT even work!!

I have just been on the phone to them and they told me the same thing that you had to cancel within 14 days otherwise you will just keep getting charged monthly, but as it says 30 day money back guarantee. She said to me that I had agreed to the terms and conditions. I got mine the same way through a link on face book, funny how I cant find that link any more! They have now told me that my account has now been closed, I have also informed my bank to put a block on any payment requests from them. £180 taken for what?! and 4 days away from Christmas, now my children wont be able to have what they wanted because of lack of funds! It’s totally disgraceful that companys can be allowed to this.

      • I ordered the trial a week ago and received it this morning. Thankfully I decided to just check about the product before using it and found this site. I rang the company immediately and told them I wanted to cancel and return the products; she went up to a 70% discount offer but I said no. In the end she agreed to cancel, and gave me the address and return codes for each product, but to be on the safe side I have called Barclaycard and ensured they can never take money from my account. I think you just need to be persistent and also ring your card provider and block any future payments, they are very aware of these scams and are extremely helpful.
        Hope this helps!

        • Be careful, I cancelled payments with my bank and they used a different name to take a third payment . I had to report my card lost to stop payments . I did however contact my bank when I had a text saying a second payment of 89.00 was being taken and reported it as unauthorized payments and my bank are refunding all payments and pursuing legal proceedings against the scam merchants . I have reported it to trading standards and consumer right. This fake company HAS to be stopped. If enough of us complain to consumer rights etc we can prevent further people going through the stress we have been put through .

Dont suppose you’ll get to see this reply, because I think the ‘moderators’ on THIS website are totally ‘IN’ with the scammersTBH
My advice to you would be simply
        1) Go to your bank and get your NEW CARD with ALL 16digits of the long number across the front of it CHANGED
When Banks renew cards following an expiry etc., they only ever change the LAST TWO NUMBERS
When the SCAMMERS go for funds, they ONLY NEED the first THIRTENN (1 3 ) enabling them to rob more money from you as often as they need or want to, leaving you in the oposition of having the stress to start trying to bang your head on that proverbial brick wall to ttry and get it back again.. (your bank doesnt give a stuff how you feel doing that) tho I have to say my Barclays EVENTUALLY I got someone to help by deciding that once the long card number was CHANGED COMPLETELY It wont happen again. And apparently, I was also told that once the DECLINED they cannot come back again (in that company name) and try again, or VISA charge them £60. Its a shame VISA dont have a better system in place,to STOP them stealing off everyone in the first place.. there are ways, i can think of a few.. I told VISA how disgusted I was that they hadnt already sorted it.. Im about to get onto Amazon HO monday.. theyre selling this product for these scammers for £14.90 whilst the rest of us ae getting to pay 89 and 92 for each piddly bottle of it.. SHAME ON THEM
GET THOSE NUMBERS CHANGED PEOPLE, AND IT WILL STOP. Promise!

    • Hi Maureen Doo
The same thing happened to me last year with another skin care company and this scamming is still going on. Go to your bank and speak to someone on the desk about what has happened, you will probably feel a complete plonker but they see these things everyday so your not alone believe me! Take as much info with you when you go. Ask them to stop any more withdrawals being made from this company. This they can do. Try and contact the company yourself too and tell them you have contacted the police and your solicitor-although you haven’t, but they don’t know that, because you felt you were being scammed. They will offer you some of your money back but stand your ground and insist on having it all back into your bank account. They will still try to barter with you and give you another then another offer of your money back but again and again stand your ground and insist on every penny back. Don’t lose your temper at all. Be firm and be confident in what your saying.. Keep telling them that your solicitor has been informed and he will be in touch with the company immediately-again this is just empty threats but they don’t know that!! Although like me your not that way inclined- but in these circumstances you’ll find you may well be. Well good luck and hope this info is useful to you.

However, when I checked my account I realized that they took the money despite the verbal promise. I called them again and asked for a confirmation by an email that I cancelled my order. They promised to send me an email and (surprise surprise) they did not!

Tried again today and made it clear that the stuff did not do what it was supposed to do and that I would be going to Trading Standards and various other organisations. After consulting with her supervisor the customer care person said that the money would be refunded in 7-10 days. My bank is aware of the situation and if the money is not refunded they will try to help. Do not give up. There are so many of us who have been duped that I feel sure we can do something. Good luck.

Also told them that they were in error by taking money from my credit card before the free samples had arrived. Have to admit that the girl I spoke to was very helpful and after conferring with her supervisor promised a refund in 7-10 days. This has been done within the time limit. Do not give up.

I happened to check my Barclacard account to find to my horror that they had taken two lots of payments in one transa
ction. I contacted Barclaycard immediately ( it was 9.30 pm.
I explained everything to the staff member. I have to say she was brilliant. She promised to contact me the next day. I had told her that I had recently lost my husband and was still very fragile. While I was waiting for the outcome, I telephoned the number that was highlighted against the money taken from my card. I abslolutely tore strips off the bloke from Replennage telling him it was a scam and I was going public if he didn’t refund the money. He was really quite rude. I mentioned the fact that I thought he was American. He told me that the products were being shipped from Cyprus. As promised, the Barclays rep. Phoned me next evening to inform me that a further debit had been applied. Told me not to worry. The only money that I would lose was the postage re the two lots of trial jars.
I immediately asked for new card and to block the account. This was done and the card will be with me soon. Luckily, I am an ex Bank worker and knew the procedures.
NEVER AGAIN will I be conned by such low lifes.

Cancel your debit / credit card immediately. You can do this by phone. This company will then be unable to take any more money. Your bank will order you a new card with a new numbers and a new 3 digit code on the reverse.
You must also report this company to your Bank’s fraud team – a team that you can speak directly to and I believe they can also cancel your card instantly. Most fraud teams are there for you 24/7.
        Hope this helps. Good luck.

      • Yes this is a scam of the highest order.

I read the article in the Woman and Home Magazine and ordered the samples in January.
Having just checked the credit card statement, 4 amounts of 89.95 have been debited. Only 2 pots cream have been received, the quality of which is awful the face cream is like putting glue on your face.

The credit card Company will stop all future payments but cannot do anything else to help.

I contacted Replennage only to be told that they will refund 2 amounts as they had not been shipped. I will wait with baited breath.

I have emailed the Magazine to advise them of the situation and will be contacting Trading Standards.

I can’t believe how stupid and angry this makes me feel. This is the first and last time I will ever order a free trial of anything even if it is in a reputable magazine.

I phoned to cancel the contract and point out that they have debited my wife’s account for two amounts for which she had received no product. She also had been debited with the new trial charge about which she knew nothing. The initial phone call was met by rudeness and indifference. A second phone call
taken by a lady named Elizabeth conceded the position and she said that a repayment would be immediately put in place.

I have emailed on eight occasions to attempt to clarify this position and have had not one single reply from their ‘customer care’ team.

I cannot comment on the efficacy of the product – others have cast doubt on it – but there is no question that their way of conducting business is far from professional and allied to previous comments on this page this company would appear to be well worth avoiding.

But what scared me most was the two pending payments of £89.95 each, this time under the titles ‘Rejuvencream’ and ‘Skincream’. I rushed to the bank who put me in touch with their Fraud Squad. They said they couldn’t stop the payments but will try and help me to get a refund. Two days later a second cream arrived, this time with contact details so I gave Hexagonal Health & Beauty a call. A rather nice American lady answered and said that if I didn’t want to be charge I should have returned the good by 4th April. I explained that I only ordered one item and had received two identical items and that they had been delivered too late to be returned by that date. She just nicely said ‘All future orders have been cancelled, there is nothing else I can do. Have a nice day now’ I have been communicating with the fraud squad ever since, but unfortunately they can’t help because I cannot provide a copy of the terms and conditions.
I thought a Free Trial was free, if we were expected to return the item if we didn’t want to get charged surely that’s a Try Before You Buy

    • Hi Maureen. phone your bank (as they are aware of this scam) cancel your payments to this company A.S.A.P. then they cannot take any payments.

      Reply
      • Even if the bank block payment it doesn’t guarantee that they will not take any more payments. My bank told me they can just change the company name and continue to take payment. This company (if it really is one) blatantly say in their terms and conditions that they will take payment using the bank details you have given them. The only way to stop it as far as I can see is to change your card details as if it had been lost or stolen. There is no point contacting their customer services because they do not act on anything and their email doesn’t exist. I’m amazed that a company like Amazon doesn’t do anything about this being done in their name or at the very least warn their customers that this scam is happening.

    • The same thing happened to me – I eventually got through to customer services after several days which were based in Maine, America!! and he assured me that although it was 3.30am there and he was very tired that he would make sure i was refunded with the £84.95 which was taken out twice from my account but to date nothing has been refunded! I think it’s a case of once bitten twice shy – I certainly cant face going through the rigmarole of trying to get through to someone again and speaking to some moron who i actually thought was a recorded message he sounded like a robot and was very unhelpful!! Like the other lady i didn’t use the creams and offered to return them to get my money back but he said that wasn’t necessary. Don’t fall for this scam!!

    • I apparently ‘ordered’ a FREE trial on the 16th July 2016. What i actually DID do was order a free trial of face cream, gave my bank details, went thru to the end of the offer ‘pages’. At the end is another section offering a free eye serum as well, for xtra just £3.95 post/pack. THEN it says tick T&C box. Bloody T&C page refused point blank to load. So they have my bank numbers, Im not gonna go before making sure Im gonna get ‘something’ back, so I ticked it.
HUGE MISTAKE and after what has now happened, I know fuill well WHY that T&C page would not let me in. Had I read it before starting I wouldnt have! When Id pressed, I waited and waited.. Products: 15ml eye serum (dont use near eyes DER!! and 30ml sample face cream. How the f they expect you to ‘cancel within 14day of order, I dont now. The damned product took 3 fuckin weeks to get here.(all in the UK NOT abroad..
Opened bank statement on 28 august, find postal charges in July. 1st Aug two times 89.95. 18th august two times 3.95 more post pack. Rang CS (god, how rude are they? Bitch (alma) wouldnt let me et wword in edgewise. No chance of refunds etc.,Another product on the way. They had ‘autho code’ from the bank took 30th aug 92.95 out; Bank cancelled them, changed my cards etc. Only way to stop them when you change a bank card with an auto update

      • dont know what happened there..but to continue THE ONLY WAY OUT IS TO GET YOUR BANK TO GIVE YOU BRAND EW CARD WITH EVERY NUMBER APART FROM THE 4 AT START DIFFERENT. When your card expires and your bank issues you new card, the only number that change is the last 2 of the 16 long number accross. recurring payment companies can carry on taking payments, because (and I seriously dont know why the Banks havent sorted this) the people asking for the payment ONLY NEED the first 13 numbers, which means no matter how many times you change your card, they will be able to compromise it again. If the card details are changed COMPLETELY they have no way in at all..Im one of the lucky ones, It appears to have stopped them for me. My Bank Barclays, sent me brand new card, the authorisation code for my first 92.95 payment unfortunately wasnt quick enough with the cancellation and the 8am ‘ask’ they did proved fruitful. HOWEVER, they returned with SIX different company names trying to get more, and were DECLINED every time. Apparently, they get fined £60 by VISA for some wrong-doing in connects with this.. In the meantime of being talked down to by their CS agents alma and beverly, I managed to let them know that I had been searching out their companies info online, and was very surprised at how much I was able to find. The Director of Belle Peau is a Mr Cyril Francis Chresta. He lives at 27 gateford dr. horsham
Rh125fw Got info from helpdesk@endole.co.uk where you can find allsorts about company directors.. What they do and how they get around it is to have the main company (belle peau) and according to companies house, there are 12 other companies in cyrils name. since then i have found more that are not actually listed on his page, which means he is probably ripping british taxman off too. There are other company directors details there, I have them all in folder at home. I am compiling file for police. (everyone this has happened to should report it to actionfraud.police.co.uk as soon as possible as they can then make a case. I was hoping to post this on as many facebook pages as I possibly could, the likes of ffreegle sites etc., but North Devon wouldnt let me, scared of getting done for libal or something..they wont tho, because EVERYTHING i am saying is true..it happened to me and its happening to thousands of others as i write.
Banks are trying to urge us as well, to read our statements, 80% of us dont. It was pure luck I read mine. I got another product this morning and when I rang the number on the top of the page, I got thru to the US. I have to send the products back to CYPRUS. Thing is, and I know this might sound bloody daft. but I am NOT A THEIF. I KNOW theyr NOT GETTING ANY MONEY for this item, so I dont feel its fair that I should keep it, so I politely said I was going to send it back, You could hear the shock in their voices at someone being nice to them..come on, its not their fault they work for rip-off arseholes.. anyway. I am not a thief, so theyre getting their poison back., Im not giving it house room, its tainted as far as Im concerned. I refuse to lower myself to their level by stealing it from them.. Aware there are those who think Im mad doing so, but hey, Im a nice person. Their stuff is shite and i dont want it. I ordered FREE sample, which wasnt free at all but more expensive than the BEST UK MAKES; in future I buy UK.. only UK. Fuck Europe etc., Im sticking Brit. And if that makes me rascist, so be it./ Stick it Belle Peau. You shove your crap BACK UP your arse

  2. yes it is a scam this cream is not a trail or free you pay shipping at fist then they take £89.95 from your card they also take £85.95 what this is for god knows so i think when you order this then you need to cancel straight away otherwise they will keep taking money from your account
so dont be fooled by the free trail saga because at the end you finish up paying top wack for it

    Reply
  3. I too got drawn in to the trial offer. I believed that if I liked the cream I would get an opportunity to order some at a rate, which I believed would be an average sort of price. Consequently, I signed up for the free trial of both face cream and eye cream paying the delivery costs of £2.95 and £3.95 as advertised. I was extremely shocked to then have £84.95 and £89.95 taken from my account 2 weeks later as there was nothing on the web page informing me that I had to cancel the trial or pay this. Likewise there was nothing on the web page telling me how to do this. On having the funds taken, I could also find no contact details to challenge them.

I eventually found them on this page and phoned the company to stop them taking any more money or sending me any more products as I think nearly £200 per month for two face products is absolutely extortionate and not something many people could afford. During the call I was offered a 20% discount which I declined and then a 40% discount. Despite me stating that I just wanted to stop the order, the Customer Services person was very pushy and said she was she going to apply a 40% discount to future orders bringing the cost down to about £53.00 per product. I ended the call by saying okay and then sent an email reinforcing my wish to cancel everything and instructing them to delete my details from their database. I have also sent a copy of the email to the bank just in case. PLEASE DON@T GET SUCKED INTO THIS SCAM LADIES, IT IS NOTHING MORE THAN THEFT.

  6. Beware…It is a scam!!

So you think its a free trial just pay P+P, (it says in big letters).

Then in very small greyed out print, it says about automatically being enrolled into a monthly subscription of £89.95 a month! Plus they charge you £89.95 for the free trial products if you do not phone up and cancel within 14 days!!.. you get charged £89.95 for a free 30 day trial after 14 days?!!
That is just the beginning. Thankfully i saw the fine print which i might add only comes on a confirmation of purchase pop up, which is after you have subscribed to the free trial!.. So its not until after you have ordered that you are even made aware of what you just signed up for.
It doesn’t stop there, the real problems start when you phone to cancel before the 14 days, they do not like that, 2 times i phoned up to cancel, each time the customer services said that a confirmation email would be sent, i waited and waited. The third time i phoned it was to make them aware i was contacting trading standards, this time the customer services representative said that there is a problem because i have not returned the products.( I have telephone transcript proving they never asked me to return the products), so now they have stalled to the point of the 14 day cut off point, where they say they can charge £89.95 for the 30 day trial supply.
I explained that they had never asked me to return the products before, so i asked for a return address, they gave me a return address to Cyprus!! Which by any standards takes a week., and postal charges are not classed as within Europe, post office considers it the middle east!!
These people need to be closed down to stopped from trading in the UK. Also the products quite frankly are not good.

  9. Update.. I sent 3 emails to replennage customer services asking for Return to manufacturer numbers and they railed to reply, this is obviously part of the tier system they have in place make it virtually impossible for you to return the products.
We also don’t seem to have any jurisdiction with OFT , So i tried a different approach.
I contacted my credit card company to block any payments from being taken, it turns out the credit card companies are fully aware of the trial tactics used by this company, and advised me that it is good that i contacted them before any money was taken.
So it seems as long as you contact your credit card company before the 14 days, they will cancel the payment.
The situation is now in my favour; if Replennage think i owe them £84.95 for the ‘free’ trial products!!!….then they can take me to court and i will gladly defend against it.

There was no mention that I would be charged a whopping £174.90 after 14 days. I did not see any pop up telling me this, or anything else. First I knew of it was when I saw my bank statement.

The product is also very poor and not even worth the postage. I have contacted Replennage to cancel something I did not even know I had subscribed to and told them not to send me any more of this awful product. I have also contacted my bank who will block any future payment they may try to steal.

I am normally very careful and cynical about offers on-line but didn’t see any harm in this; I thought they would just contact me for feed-back and a chance to buy more at a later date. I feel like a fool but, mainly, I am just so angry that such unscrupulous people existi.

Yes I have been conned out of my money too. I wish I had read all of these comments before purchasing. I paid the £2.95 ‘post and packaging’ for what I thought was a free sample. I thought i needed the product and it seemed a good price for a sample. Forgot all about it until I went to withdraw some money two weeks later and my account was overdrawn. Replannage had taken £84.95 from my account without my authorisation for a sample pack of cream. I hadnt even received the product so didnt have a chance to ‘sample’it. I do feel ‘bumped’ and a bit silly that i was tempted by this offer. Its true if it seems too good to be true it probably is. I called the customer services who kept me on the phone for ages because they couldnt find my details. Then after refusing to refund my money tried to offer me 30% discount on a product I hadnt even received assuring me how satisfied I would be when I eventually received it. I contacted my bank and they put a stop on Replannage taking any further payment. They advised me to always read the terms and conditions on these types of offers. I am still trying to get my refund from the company.

They took it out of my bank account before I even had the chance to ring and cancel and they took it before the 14 day period stated int he fine print. I’ve been trying to get the money back ever since, they keep assuring me it will be refunded within 3 days. That was 3 weeks ago! Just another scam to get hard earned money off people for nothing. 21. On 9th October an amount of £2.95 was debited to my Sainsburys credit card. This was the cost of p &p quoted when I ordered a supposedly free sample of Repplennage eye cream as advertised on a Facebook advert.

I did receive a parcel quite quickly but the Hermes courier who had delivered other items from other sellers previously warned that her company had received numerous complaints regarding goods ordered from Replennage stating that money had been charged to their accounts without their knowledge or consent.

I received credit card statement from Sainsbury dated 9th November and found an amount of £84.95 dated 23d October had been paid to Replennage without my knowledge or consent. So much for a “free” sample!

I contacted my credit card company and was advised that the money would go into dispute and any other monies requested from Replennage will be refused. I will call Sainsbury again to request confirmation in writing. The company supplying the cream is actually based in Cyprus although I thought they were in UK. The Hermes courier warned that the terms and conditions should be carefully read. Nevertheless if you find an advertisement, especially on Facebook site, offering a free sample you certainly do not expect to pay for the item other than the p & p requested.

Obviously if I was aware that I would be charged £84.95 I would not have placed the order. I feel sure there are a number of others who have been duped in the same way and am amazed that the company still trades in the same manner and that sites such as Facebook publish the advertisements.

I post this in the hope it will stop others falling into the same trap as I did!!!

  23. Exactly the same problem and only saw the small print saying £74 would be taken in 14 days after having given card details. Phoned the telephone number given and after unsatisfactory conversation where I ended saying right, fine, thank you, hung up and called my bank to put a stop on my card. A nuisance but the safest option. This came about via the Daily Mail Rewards website and I am notifying them.

  24. hi
I have just ordered this cream, trial price of £3.95 but it was playing on my mind, and I have seen all your comments. So since I only ordered this on Thursday, and its now Saturday, I have contacted my Credit card and asked them not to authorise anything resembling £89.95 from that company. I have also emailed the “company” and told them its a scam, and do not steal any money from my account. Feel a fool, but hopefully I have stopped payments coming out of my account.
Thanks for all the comments on here. Dont get sucked in ladies.

She sent the products back with a letter and thought that would be the end of it but no she just rang me saying they have just taken another £93.00 out of her account and this time she didn’t even get the creams. I don’t know how to stop this

  26. This is an absolute American Scam. Even after spending 20 minutes on the telephone I got no where. The ‘customer service department’ could only repeat what she had been trained to say and there was no chance whatsoever in her even trying to understand what I was saying. I asked about the 30 day guarantee and she said that it was 14 days trial period and not trial creams. On the website it does not state anything about a 14 day period to cancel. I was offered 20% and then 40% discount to continue with these creams, when all I wanted was a refund. I have contacted my bank in the hope that they will be able to do something. I feel it is time that these ‘cosmetic scammers’ should be dealt with by some form of legal action on behalf of the public……….

    • You firstly must ring your bank or credit card and ask them to block any more requests for payments from Replennage. Then you must ring Replennage and demand that they refund your money immediately. Do not take no for an answer, be very firm, even angry ànd keep ringing back. There is no point emailing as their email address is false. Threaten them with social Media and quote their 30 day and, no quibble, money back guarantee. Keep at it, I got my money back. Then tell everyone to keep away from Replennage. Good luck.xx

    • Just call your bank and they will block any future payments being taken. If you paid by credit card they should be able to get you a refund if you weren’t aware you signed up for it.

  30. I applied for this ‘free’ trial 2 weeks ago and have received nothing. I read an article in the Daily Mail recently highlighting how the trial leads to a Continuous Payment Authority. Luckily not for me as I had to have my debit card replaced a few days after signing up so it will not work. I have alerted my bank and requested chargeback on the postal charges. I should have known better. Recently in Las Vegas I was lured into a shop (Skins 6/2) with a free sample of serum. I was subjected to the most aggressive sales pitch I have ever experienced for some ‘wonder’ American skincare products I had never heard of. The assistant had them in the bag and was demanding my credit card before I had time to draw breath. Only when I asked the cost at the point of sale did she mention $400 (£250)! I would never contemplate paying this amount for any skincare product. Buyer beware – these unscrupulous companies are all out there.

  32. I too was pulled into Replennage ‘s advert and paid the postage for the “free” trial. The creams arrived and I wasn’t very impressed with the quality of the packaging or the cream itself. Within a few days, to my horror I realised £89.95 had been taken from my bank account. I immediately phoned the Replennage and was told in no uncertain terms that I would not be refunded, the products were not returnable. I was not allowed to speak to a supervisor. I am afraid that i hit the roof and was very angry although this did me no good at all. However I decided to accept that I had made a horrible, stupid mistake and to try to get round the hole in my finances as best as I could. Two days later I discovered that Replennage had taken a further £84.95 from my bank account. At this point I was beside myself, I do not earn very much money each month and I did not know how I would be able to cover direct debits for my daughter’s phone and my credit card etc. I again rang Replennage and spoke to a lady called Elizabeth. Again I was extremely angry and eventually Elizabeth agreed to arrange a refund of all amounts taken from my bank account. I was very sceptical about this having found this website and reading of other people’s unfortunate experiences. However today the full amount of £175.95 has been refunded to my account!!! I will ring my bank tomorrow to confirm that this is so. So ladies if you have made the same mistake that I and many others have do not give up and keep demanding your money back from this sham company. But we must make sure that they are shown up for what they are by publicizing this scam on social media.

  33. Of course it’s a scam. The small print is grey and hard to read but it DOES say they will take the cost of the “trial” bottle from your bank account after 14 days and they will also take another payment for the next bottle they will send you, even though you haven’t asked for it. Yes, it’s vital to read ALL the ad; don’t trust any company which offers something which seems to be free (it usually isn’t) but makes you pay for postage. Unless you have the option to pay via paypal, it isn’t worth taking the risk of giving out your credit card details.

Their site claimed such good reviews/statements to say others wondered if it was a scam but no, etc. When I received no products initially I did then keep checking my account for any direct debits i perhaps hadn’t set up

Please do not sign up for the free trial, it will just keep costing you BIG money!!! So glad we found this website with all the reviews as we wouldn’t have been none the wiser, so Thankyou to you all that has put a review on here. Over the spate of the phone call they started off by offering us 20 per cent discount, going forward closely by 40 per cent going forward, for the size of the pots you receive my husband told them if I got a years free it still wouldn’t cover the cost of money they have taken! They have cancelled the order but NO MONEY BACK! He told them they are just ripping people off and it’s a scam. Hope no one else falls for this!!! Please keep checking bank statements and cc card statements as they may still be taking money! Oh and they are an American company!!!! Absolutely fuming!!!!

  40. There is no doubt that this is a scam. I received an offer through the MyMail website, or so I thought, offering free anti ageing cream for the cost of postage and package. When I made the payment another pop up offered another eye cream again for p&p.

There was no mention on the website or payment details that this was a 14 day trial which would lead to a cost of £89.95 and £84.95 respectively. Had i been aware of this I would not have accepted this ‘offer’.

The goods only arrived after 17 days, which even had I known about the trial would not have been in time to send them back. My wife and I contacted Replennage ‘customer service’ agent who have cancelled the account but still insist on receiving payment for the creams. I have asked them for a return address so I can return the unused creams and they refuse to supply this. The agent told me that I should have read their Shipping Policy and informed them within 3-5 days if the goods had not arrived. I never received details of their shipping policy and did not know it was a trial. I have asked my bank to refund the amount to my account and will be informing Trading Standards, although I doubt they have any jurisdiction.

I thought it might be a bit of a scam and am sure I checked the site for the ‘small print. I am working with my credit card to get the money back as the company will not give it back and will report it to the Trading Standard as is suggested in an earlier email. I have however got an email from Replennage saying they will not charge me any more which I might well frame! As they say sadly ‘buyer beware’ and if it sounds to good to be true it probably is!

  46. I am another sucker, I’m afraid! I signed up for the free trial, and saw nothing at all about a monthly payment or any other sort of payment. The cream did not arrive until more than a fortnight later, and it was only by chance that I saw 2 weeks after that, that they had taken a further £89 out of my account. I phoned my bank and had them stop any future payments Replenage might want to take out. They agreed to this and also agreed to investigate it, and reimburse the money removed. Thank you so much for this website, as it gave me a contact number for Replenage. I had no way of contacting them otherwise, and an email sent to me , hoping I would enjoy the cream, said the sender was myself!
I phoned the company, and they said they would give me a 20% discount, which I refused. They told me that I had not cancelled before the trial period ended, which was 14 days after my order. Since the cream had not even arrived by then, that in itself is bizzare! I demanded a full refund, without returning the sample, which is what they asked for, and told them I would take them to court if they did not comply. They have agree a refund, and I wait to see if it materialises. I also told them I thought it was shocking the way they maliciously used Kate and the Queen to advertise their product. they told me they ‘understood’what I was saying!!

  48. Today’s The One Show reported the Aimee Cream Scam. It just reminded me of the REPLENNAGE cream I purchased on 7th of Nov. I am not normally tempted for this kind of deal. For some reasons, I did that day considering only cost postage. Then I totally forgot it. Received the cream week ago. Never opened the bottle, just left aside. Only the TV show waked me up. The bottle is so similar, and all the free trial pages… quickly checked my credit card account. They already charged me the full amount on 23rd. Took me long time to find out the bottle and receipt. It says order date is 7th, shipping date is 25th. and then they charged me on 23rd… such dodge company, not even mention about the hidden contract.

Will contact my credit card company to stop the further payment and try to get back the paid one.

  62. 24.11.15 was browsing online on my phone when an ad flashed up offering free trial of face cream, pay only £3.95 p&p. Followed it, entered my debit card details, address etc, then another offer flashed up offering eye cream for £2.95 p&p, agreed to this too. Was in a rush so didn’t pay attention to small print/T&Cs. They took the two agreed p&p amounts from my bank account on 27.11.15, under the name R P Skincare, I received the products, there was an extra face cream in the pack which I hadn’t ordered. I then noticed a further £89.95 had been taken out in the same name on 11.12.15. Googled R P Skincare to no effect, googled Replennage and found lots of complaints on this forum. It seems they take a monthly fee in excess of £80 once someone has signed up to the free trial and not cancelled quickly emough. Rang my bank (Santander) and told them, they put a stop on R P Skincare and Replennage taking any more money from my account, they had already stopped one payment for £84.95, and recommended that I contact the company to cancel the agreement, and contact Citizen’s Advice. I am about to email Replennage after finding their contact details on the above mentioned forum and will request (but don’t expect) a full refund of the monthly fee and cancellation.

  69. I posted on here at the end of November as I too had a similar experience to all of you. So, an update that hopefully helps others… The same day I realised they had taken over £174 from my account I read this ‘blog’ and the parcel arrived just as I was calling my bank re the payments. Like many of you they couldn’t repay the funds on my debit card as I had now received the goods; they (Lloyds) said it was best not to cancel the card as for some reason companies like this can still get round things and take further money. The bank did block future direct debit payments from the same or similar names and told me that if payments like this were made in the future they WOULD be refunded as they had been alerted to this scam – the girl at the bank was really nice and said they had received loads of calls re this scam and similar which was slightly reassuring as I then didn’t feel quite so stupid.
However, having searched for their small print about not refunding on open products or not refunding items marked return to sender I didn’t touch the parcel but put it into another envelope, called their helpline and DID get to speak to a person and some return codes that they claim are essential. I sent the package + letter stating some of the trades description legislation etc they are on breach of, by tracked Royal Mail – this did cost me £11+ but I thought might be worth the cost. They had one failed delivery attempt but then it was signed for – in Cyprus (loads of companies with beauty products use the same PO Box but each has a different registered company address). I then left it a few days and emailed them again to say I knew it had been received and saying I wanted to know when I would receive the refund. They said ‘when we have received the product…’ etc so I emailed back to again state that I had the date it was received and that it had been signed for and repeat what i wanted and said I would take further action (wasn’t sure what though!). To my surprise on 14th Dec they replied to say my refund would be with me within 3-5 days – yeah right (I thought)! To my even greater surprise I HAVE received the full refund!! So, please please please, don’t give up but don’t open the parcel and do get the return codes and track your parcel and even try Trading Standards. Do hope this helps and best of luck to you all that are battling with them over this

  71. This Replenage strategy of P& P is definitely a scam. They offered me a sampke product requesting I pay £3.95 for post and packaging , I gave them my debit card details and was surprised that they went ahead to take a whooping £89.99 from my account. I will take this matter up with trading standards. This is false misrepresentation.

  72. I’ve just had the same happen to me. It’s to late to go to the bank, but I’ve rung and tried to sort it. I have been told that as its pending I’ll have to pay £89.95. There is nothing I can do until tomorrow when my bank contacts me. I feel like an absolute fool for companies like this getting one over on me. I hope that they choke on there turkey.

  75. I have now got my bank and solicitor working on this, the bank have been so helpful. I have also sent all the stupid e.mails I received from them and copies of everything else to Watchdog, who seem, very interested. The bank have assured me they cannot take money once you have cancelled the card but I will be keeping a close watch and the bank now have to get my authority for anything over a certain amount, which is a pain but something they suggested I do for now.
Can’t see this going away very quickly but I am going to make a damn point about it all now

  76. The same thing has happened to me. I didn’t see any mention of having to pay over £80 for each pot of cream or the fact that it was a 14 day trial. I received no communication saying this would happen and was staggered to see that over £160 had been deducted from my Nationwide account. I have cancelled any further payments after speaking to the US company but still haven’t received any communication from them (they say because of Christmas). I asked for a full refund but they said I accepted their Ts and Cs. I have now asked Nationwide to try and get a refund from them in view of so many people having the same complaint and I am waiting to see if this is possible. I will repost any further developments but feel very strongly that they should not be allowed to advertise in this way. Is Trading Standards able to help?

  80. Just realised I’ve been scammed too, and feel so stupid. The payment was taken from my account just before Christmas and I didn’t notice it until this morning. I never received anything in writing about the trial, and as I paid by debit card I’m unable to get a refund. I called my bank about it, they didn’t even need to ask who the transaction was to – they get hundreds of calls about it. Stopped now, but so annoyed.

  81. Same here I have been scammed for 349-80 pounds + postage for what was suppose to be a free trial for a postage fee of 2-95. They also took a further 3-95 additional postage.

  82. It’s definitely a scam. I made an order before coming to this website, and read about all the comments so I immediately wrote an email to them to cancel the order. But they still charged me with full price of the face and eye cream of £89.95 and £84.95.

I told them clearly on my email that they are not authorised to make any further deductions apart from the shipping but they ignored and pretend dumb and went ahead to deduct the above amounts from my bank account. Looks like a pitiful thief doesn’t know how to produce good products and add value for the customers to pay willingly. What a shame and I am going to go all the way to get my money back, whatever it takes.

I am new to the UK, will find out how I can proceed, with the help of media or authority so these deceitful behaviour can be stopped. Any advice is appreciated.

  84. Further to my message above, Nationwide have been very helpful and have refunded the amounts taken out of my account while they investigate the dispute. They could take up to 120 days to do this but if it is found to NOT be a scam they will let me know and remove the sums. At least they are looking into the matter. I will tell them about this blog. So it is worth contacting your bank to see if they can help and the more people that do so, the more likely they are to find in our favour (hopefully!) Good luck to everyone else out there.

  85. I, today received an offer of £84.95 refund even though they took £174.90!! Which I refused,I have told them I have advised a solicitor, trading standards and BBC watchdog who seem very interested as they have had a quite a few complaints. I have sent the link for this page to all three. My bank did refund the money but if they find in favour of the company they will take the money back like the lady above. So I am hell bent on getting the money back so I can cancel the bank procedure. It is such a con, I think they have 10 year olds on the customer services which is an insult to 10 year olds. Some of the e.mail replies are odd. I still cannot get over the money back period changing, it was 30 days and mysteriously now its 14 days. I did copy the original ad thankfully. How can you trial, not open and send back something to Cyprus in that time frame, stupid.

  88. I am so angry about this! The same has happened to me. It’s disgraceful. I know I am normally very vigilant regarding online buying. It is a straight-up SCAM. The £5.95 product I was duped by was unusable. I was charged x2 £84.95 with no more products even received. My bank, NatWest, stopped the direct debit and I then received an email from Replannage notifying my subscription had been cancelled and if I wished to re-subscribe I could… I emailed back telling them how awful the scam is, that I will report them, and that they didn’t even have the brains to send the products along with it! And guess what? They rather quickly sent over a (cracked) jar to me. So don’t remind them that you didn’t recieve anything – as it will help the case.
Does anyone have any advise to get the full money back? I’m so upset about this.

  89. I am devastated as well as feeling a bloody fool… Replennage have broken me .. I too fell for the trial pot at the end of Oct 2015.. I didnt see any terms or conditions or anything about monthly subscriptions or I wouldnt have touched them..at the start of November I received 1 package with 3 small 1fl oz pots in it, thinking this was the trial never thought anymore with Christmas approaching and the upset of loosing our beloved dog I was silly and didnt check my bank statement . The next thing I know I received a text from my bank (lloyds) fraud department the company during November had taken £84.95 one day and then £89.95 the next and up until Jan 14th they have taken £524.70 with another £320 in waiting. (Jan alone they took £320) so a total of £874.20 … I hadnt received any other cream from them so hadnt given it a thought or I would have acted .. We had a meeting with the bank on Friday 15th Jan to put in hands of fraud squad ..I had no contact details fro the firm. Then the next day lo and behold a pot arrived with a phone number on it try as I might I couldnt get through so sent them an email and informed the fraud squad on the update then today another pot arrived I tried phoning again this time got through, the lady was all nicey nicey on the phone saying they will cancel subscription which I said I never signed up to.. I said i want my money back she said oh will get accounts to phone you within 3 days to see if they will consider refunding you, I said not consider I demand it back to which she cut me off. I have been back in touch with lloyds. I cant stop crying what a fool I feel i am now overdrawn in the bank and dont know what to do

I complained and was told Id a get refund and to send the item back if they came. But I told then to cancell the product they had sent to the wrong address, the number didn’t exist. I tried the product when it came, it was horrible the worst cream I have ever had. I have rung up several times to be told Id get a refund. I had sent the cream back to Cyprus, it was too late for Xmas delivery but they admitted they have it and still told 3-5 working days. This has happened several times So now Im going to threaten them with a court case.

CS rep tried repeatedly to offer me a discounted price but I stuck to my guns and demanded my order(s) were cancelled. She confirmed she had actioned this and provided me with two cancellation numbers. She said to allow x7 business days for refund to show. Fortunately, I have a record option on my work phone so I recorded the whole conversation and this is now safely filed away…just in case!!!

However, I contacted Replennage and got a cancellation order but they said they did not give refunds. After several more phone calls threatening lawyers, Trading Standards, and Police they finally gave in and refunded the full amount. It pays to be firm and to harass them with calls. It took about 3 weeks but was worth it. (the bank have been now refunded from me) but it was a hard lesson learned. Facebook should not allow these adverts. IT IS A SCAM !!!!!!!!!!!

    • I’m another “victim” of the scam – no free trial arrived for several days, then 2 full size pots of each product arrived in the post, followed by another pot of each less than 2 weeks later. On checking the bank statement, a hefty £89 had been debited for each “sample”!
I have cancelled my card with the bank so no further payments can be taken out of my account.
An email has been sent to Replennage requesting a full refund as I did not order or want the full size products and I will be returning them – unused – as soon as I have confirmation that a refund will be arranged. I am prepared to take this further with the fraud and Trading Standards departments if I have no satisfactory reply from Replennage – I have made this clear to them!
Regrettably I should have taken heed of the “if it’s too good to be true, then often it is” motto, that said the T&C’s were not apparent when accepting the free trial, nor, as others have pointed out, was the auto-subscription arrangement.
Let’s hope others do not fall for the trap and best of luck to everyone who is trying to cancel the arrangement or pursue a refund

  112. I too am a victim of this scam, thinking I was getting a free trial sample, only to find £89 taken from my bank account at the end of February. I rang Replennage and was told that it was clear in the T&C’s. I do not recall seeing any information about T&C’s when claiming my ‘free trial’ sample. I will spread the word and I hope others will read these testimonies before falling into the same trap.

  113. Can’t believe I fell for this scam too.

I just realised I had 4 unauthorised payments taken from my account:
    – £89.95 from RPSkincare and £89.95 from Ageavate 14 days after my initial authorised £3.95 charges for the trial pots
    – £89.95 from Skincream and £89.95 from Facecream 11 days later.

I rang my bank and they said this is really common and I need to ring the company and request a refund and stop my ‘subscription’

Thank goodness for finding this thread and the 0800 number to ring the company.

I rang and got a full refund – I was surprised as expected a fight! I got through quickly and explained that I had 4 unauthorised payments from my account. The advisor looked up my details and advised as I hadn’t rung up to cancel then I had agreed to carry on my subscription. I calmly advised that this wasn’t apparent when I ordered the trial pots and that it was an unacceptable sales practice and that I had read online that this is a widespread scam. I asked if I was able to get a refund or whether I needed to get the police involved to do so. She then said she was able to cancel my subscription and refund my charges. I asked why the company used different company names to withdraw the money and she said she didn’t know. Apparently I should have my money back within 14 days.

I hope others get the same result.

  115. I too have just discovered payments of £89.95 x 2 gone from my account to Ageessence and RPskincare plus the original £3.95 for the trial. I just rang Replennage, told teh customer service “specialist” (that’s a good one ho ho) I was recording the call and requesting full refund on account of these transactions being unacceptable sales practice contravening the sales and trades descriptions act. She accepted my request to cancel the subscription (get a cancellation confirmation number when you do this) and gave the traditional apology but cited my wife ticked the box agreeing to the “ongoing trial” and charges which also supposedly states there are no refunds once the order is made and shipped (note the shipped statement – might be grounds for claiming back if you don’t receive the samples as they should be able to prove shipping). I told her there is no evidence of this tick box or statement and this is deliberately misleading to customers and said there is no record of this agreement by email or online or with the goods. On those grounds i believe the transactions after the initial £3.95 – which was for postage and packing – are unauthorised. She disagreed stating my wife “had ticked the box”. I told her I have already reported this to my bank who have put a stop on the payments (be careful here – Replennage – whoever scum they are – anticipate this hence they use different trading names like RPSkincare, AgeEssence and what others have been mentioned above). I am reporting this to Trading Standards and to the police (there is an online Fraud reporting site just google it and fill in online forms) and I intend to put my demand for a full refund in writing write to this bunch once I get an address. Does anyone have one?

If I had seen the charge of £89 for next lot I definately wouldn’t have signed up for this. When the trial cream came it was in a package that was a lot bigger than the actual jar and came from Cyprus!!! There was no information and the jar had labels stuck on them! Cream I’ve had from reputable companies have info engraved onto their jars not labels stuck on so alarm bells started ringing. Googled Replennage and found I wasn’t alone! I cancelled my debit card which I had used to pay trial on and then phoned 0800 number you gave and spoke to an American called Damien who cancelled my subscription no problem. I told him they needed to make extra subsrciptions more apparent on their free trial advert as was very misleading. i am now awaiting my e mail to say it is cancelled! • Well five days since I cancelled my bank card and what did this lot do ???? Take £89.95 out my account on Monday the day I cancelled my order! It only showed on my account today. Got onto my bank who have refunded me the £89.95 because I had cancelled my card on the Sunday and they took the money on the Monday when the bank should have cancelled it!!! I phoned this company and spoke to an arrogant American who told me I had signed up for a free trial and after 14 days you pay for it and 14 days were up by the Monday. I told him I had seen all these comments and was taking them to trading standards. Madame I will refund fifty percent of the money !! WHAT !!! He also told me I should’ve read T&C’s which I never saw….they are at the bottom of the page in blue Madame. If I had seen them I’d have seen how much that wee pot of cream was and wouldn’t have fallen for this. How can this company be allowed to trade with arrogant staff and misleading adverts??? So annoyed at myself for falling for this.

  124. Yup this is a scam. I found out the hard way. Like you I sent off for their sample in November 2015. They have taken 6 payments of £89.95 from my credit card since the 16 Feb and still more are pending. I have emailed them saying that I have informed the police and have got my credit card company on the case who have cancelled my card. I can’t believe how stupid I have been to fall for this scam. 🙁

  126. I oredered some of their product in November 2015, and have received the initial sample- one of two, and have been billed every 4 weeks since, at 89.95 for each, plus postage charges. I cancelled the order in December, and my credit card, but the bank continues to allow them access to my account for reasons I cannot fathom.
So far, the bank has cancelled my card twice, and Replennage are still taking payments out, which the bank has reimbursed, but it is a total scam, which ultimately costs the bank.
There is something radically wrong with a system which allows these thieves to continue to function, and also with a banking system, which appears to support such action

Hello to all you guys who have been conned….like myself

I have the same story as all of you….except, I was actually trying to get through to the customer feedback page at tkmaxx, to give some good comments about a particular member of staff. Replennage ad, kept popping up, so I couldn’t get past it…I tried a few times..I thought it was a product being promoted by tkmaxx(which I shop from all the time) So naturally, I trusted it. I am very wary of anything online, but decided to go for this ,as it was only a few quid. So, eventually I read it, and went ahead with the free trial, only paying for p&p..

To my horror, when my statement came through, £174.90 had been taken from my account!!!!

Anyway, to cut a long story short, my transaction was in october, last year. I immediately called replennage, I was irate. they agreed to refund me fully, but I am still chasing them for my money.
The bank, couldn’t do anything, they tried to help, but were useless…they needed confirmation from the company that they had agreed to refund me, but of course there is no way you can get that, as they give you no email to contact, no ONE person’s details ..NOTHING.
I suggested I record one of the operators admitting and willing to refund me, but the bank says that is illegal, and I would have to let them know i’m recording them.

Credit card company could do nothing….what a joke…they are supposedf to be there to protect you from unautherised access to your accts, which this was.

Plus this company is targetting U.K residents only! Some organisation needs to do something to protect us from this vile, awful american company.

All I suggest is to report them to trading standards, and put it across all forms of social media, to let others know…this is a huge scam.

Also, if you can bear it, continue to hound them on the phone, stressful, as this is….OR, let it go, to save your sanity, and put it down to a very costly terrible experience.

I had almost given up, but gave them a call today….another excuse, now they say have escalated this problem for a second time…so I should receive my money by next friday….

Will have to wait and see….am doubtful of anything positive coming of it….But I am NOT going to give up….it’s almost £200 quid….ti think of all the nice things I could have done with that…or given it to charity

  132. This is one of the most insidious scams I have ever come across. Unwanted, unasked for carcagenic creams flooding my post and substantial money taken from my account. Surely, they can’t get away with this?

When I called them, they said I had not asked them to stop, but I never asked them to start. I am deeply upset and trying to claw back the money that should never have been taken.

Honest, decent people conned by an immoral and illegal company.

No cream arrived then on 23/3/16 £89.95 debitted from my account under the name Revitcream. At this point no cream so flagged it up at my bank who put a stop on Revitcream taking any more money. Then on 31/3/16 another £89.95 Taken by a company called Replennage, still no cream. Today 1/4/16 two pots of cream arrived. Now I had some contact details so I phoned their customer service number and after 40 minutes of argueing that how can a free trial be from 14 days of ordering when the products arrived 26 days after ordering, they argued that postal problems where not there fault, but hardly mine though. Also they could not give be a reason why the 4 debits from my account where under different names!!!! I received an email stating they had tried to take a payment and asking me to contact them with new payment details…..which of course I ignored and so far they have not contacted me again or asked bank for payment ! Thousands of people are being ROBBED.
Using the payment info for P&O for the ‘free sample’ Replennage then set up a Recurrent Transaction Authority to take out hundreds of pounds a month from your bank/credit card.

Only Replennage can change this RTA, and they can change the amount and frequency to whatever they like.

Safest option – change your bank account.

My Bank were useless (Santander) so I have contacted the Financial Ombusdman.

No refund offered. Got phone number for Replennage from internet and phoned them. At first no offer of refund but after telling them that the cream was rubbish and did not do what it claimed and stating my intention to go to Trading Standards and also to contact the loads of people who had also been duped with the intention of us all getting together the customer services lady spoke to her supervisor with the result that the money should be refunded in 7-10 days. Have notified my credit card company and they will fight on my behalf if the money does not appear. Will notify you all if I get the refund.

  142. Just been scammed for nearly £550. I ordered the trial just like everybody else. It took ages to arrive. I had no paperwork with it. On Monday 18th April I checked my account and found that 4 payments of £89.95 had been taken from my account within the last week. I rang my bank who said they would put a stop any further payments coming out, this took 24 hours and by that time another £180 pounds had been taken out! I saw the bank manager as well who was no help whatsoever, so I rang my bank again to check that the payments had stopped. He assured me that it had been done, put me through to fraud and they issued me with a telephone number to ring the company. I spoke to a woman, whom I told that I’d received a trial with no paperwork whatsoever, so was unable to cancel it. She said that having recieved the trial and not returned it, i’d signed up to a program. She informed me that it already been cancelled, I can only think that was because the bank had stopped the payments. I listed the payments that had gone out and told her I wanted a refund or I will take it further. She said I would receive a refund within 3 to 5 days. I wait with baited breath! I think this is disgusting that these criminals have not been stopped! I would just like to inform anybody that the names they have used are Regen, Antiwrinkle, Firmskin and RP Skincare.

  149. I have just had this happen to me. However, unlike most of the comments here I have managed to get in touch with the company thanks to the bank telling me their numbers. Also, unlike most people I have had £89.95 taken out of my account every other day since the first ‘order’ I am now £800+ over drawn and the company have still not apologised. They have sad they will refund the money taken by mistake but it will take up to 30 days and they won’t refund the original ‘order’ which comes to 2×89.95 plus 2x 3.95.

I did not sign up to this at all. I am well aware of scams and trial offers so I know that I didn’t do it. Mine was an offer of a free gift after completing a customer satisfaction survey. Unfortunately I can’t remember who the company was.

They were very keen not to have the bank raise a dispute on my behalf and so I agreed not to but as soon as I receive my refund then I will take if further.
I would be very interested in hearing from anyone who has successfully got their money back for the goods that arrived and how you went about it. I have threatened the police but backed off for the time being due to needing them to refund over £800 back first.

  152. I ordered this cream as it was a free trial for 3.95 for p&p. They didn’t send any email regarding the order. I received two pots of cream after 14 days. I tried to contact the company but they are difficult to get through. It took me almost 3 hrs to talk to them. After 3 hours I could talked to the customer service advisor with American accent only kept on saying oh I know where it come from! I tried to explain that I didn’t get 14 days free trial as they didn’t send the cream on time. They claim that they are not responsible for shipping delays. The courier dropped the packet outside the house and didn’t even bother to drop their card through the post box. They came next day morning to drop the card that we have left the parcel outside. I opened the package and there was no return slip with the invoice. As per the date mentioned on the invoice the product shipped just two days before I received. This means this company deliberately delays the shipping. So that the customers don’t get 14 days free trial and they can easily loot people. I requested them to return my £189 but they kept on denying. After an hour’s conversation I disconnected the phone because it was just waste of time & money. I threatened them with police & legal action but it didn’t work. After all I called up my bank and reported them. The bank is investigating. But I strongly feel that these people should be reported for fraud, There should be sone police investigation as they are absolute scammers!

  153. I ordered the free trial in mid-May (and stupidly paid the £3.95 postage with my credit card). I received 2 parcels, with minimal paperwork; nothing to say it was a trial that was free only for 2 weeks.
I have been trying one of the creams (with no discernable effect).
When my credit card bill arrived this week, I discovered, to my horror that I have been charged £382.55 – 4 lots of £89.95 + 5 lots of £3.95 + 2 lots of £1.50. I rang my credit card company and they said i must ring the supplier (for whom there are 4 different freephone numbers on the credit card bill). All calls go to the customer service people in the USA, although the creams are all sent from Cyprus.
The first person I reached explained what I’d done and – after some argument – agreed to refund one lot of £89.95, as I have not received all I should have done (but don’t actually want any of it).
I shall try to get media coverage of this terrible scam – but am also cross with myself for being so stupid.

  171. Like a few others here, I have just been scammed out of a total of £377 for 2 pots of Hydroplennage antiageing cream and 1 stick of serum, I feel so stupid !

I requested to my bank on 19th Aug that 2 amounts of £89.95 had been taken and that no goods had been received. 2 further amounts of £89.95 have been taken along with 5 multiple debits of £3.95, the bank have refunded these but I am still out of pocket by £189 for items that seemingly don’t work.

I have not even bothered to open the pots and try them for fear of being scarred or burned by this shit.

Be warned, don’t ever order anything that’s looks to good to be true and don’t ever put on your debit card as I did, coz the bank wont refund,,,,,,,,,,,,a credit card company may be obliged to.

I have sent the Hexagonal Health Company an email today so lets see if I get a response but I wont hold my breath !

  172. I too have been taken in by this company. However, I placed the order on 21/9, it was despatched on 22/9 and arrived on 23/9 –supposedly from cyprus. As there was no info with the despatch note I was suspicious and found this catalogue of actions taken. Fortunately less than £10 had been taken from my card. i explained to my bank and they cancelled my credit card immediatley and they are sending me a completely new card(and number). The moral is, apart from “if it’s too good to be true it probably is” is that it s as well to be aware of what a credit card can do for you over what a debit card can.

    • UNSURE IF YOULL GET THIS BUT HERES HOPING. THESE PEOPLE (AND THEIR NUMEROUS OTHER COMPANY SUBSIDURIES..ALL STARTING AT belle peau [based in Horsham Broadbridge Heath Lawson Hunt industrial estate unit 6 RH12 3JR] *directors address 27 Gateford Dr. Horsham RH12 5FW* Directors names CYRIL FRANCIS CHRESTA & LETITIA CHARLENE CHRESTA Both 83 and should know better,,bet theyre living a right old nice life whilst the rest of us suffer after losing nearlly £1000 from our bank accounts. Money I for one, ill-afford to lose.
Ireported to ActionFraud. Their crime refer number started NFAR then the number, and you dont have to be the head of interpol to workout what NFAR means. A coupe of days agoi I received an email from them saying there was NO CASE TO ANSWER, and also NO ONE TO PROSECUTE in regards to this as they could not find any info about the company..even tho I provided them with reams of info on what the directors names, dobs, addresses, other company involvements, manufacturing addys (ALL UK BASED TOO) SUBSIDUARY COMPANY NAMES ETC.,No Further Action Required (NFAR) appears to mean they let you rot for a cople of months, letting you think theyr acting for you, then send notification of stuff you knew already by their Crime Refer number.. Do they really think we are all that thick???
My bank (BARCLAYS) are just as bad.. if iv sent the info they needed once, Iv sent it a dozen times. ALL recorded signed for postage.. ALL arrived the following day (proved by RM T&T website) ALL scanned to them over the following week or so.. CONFIRMED RECEIVED by their coplleagues over the phone… then comes a denial of receipt and re-send request letter. Total time-wasting maddening slow-down tactics on their part. Now I have to wait a further 2months for the ‘company to respond’ even when they bank say they NEVER DO
We all need to get this stuff out into the NATIONAL PRESS , a mission Im going on once I get my refund (as well as a change of Bank)
I REPEAT… the ONLY WAY to STOP these THEIVING TOERAGS is to CHANGE ALL SIXTEEN DIGITS LONG NUMBERS ON BANK CARDS
The scammers only need the first twelve or thirteen. Once they have an authorisation code from the Bank, they have UP TO SIX YEARS to get the money off you. And if you closed the account in the meantime, because the Bank have an authrisation code, they HAVE to pay it, and then they come after you for the money…
COME ON PEOPLE. LETS STOP THEM. PICKET THE MANUFACTURING unit (I NEED to find out if they produce using animal testing etc.,) LETS VISIT MR & mrs CHRESTA in 27 GATEFORD DR HORSHAM and see if they have the money to give us back… cos we seem to all be wasting our bloody time trying to get refunds from Banks we supported for the last 40+ years…

  175. I too have been a victim of this scam – and I am appalled that it is still continuing! I have only just came across this site and the HUGE list of complaints and yet nothing has been done!! It is scandalous and this Company should be ashamed of themselves and NOT get away with it! I paid with my Credit Card and my Bank was sympathetic and refunded the money back into my account and very grateful that they did this for me. However reading some folks stories they are not so fortunate. I till think that company should PAY! And be struck off for causing this deceit and misery to folks. It is completely unacceptable!

  176. I have just been on the phone to these scammers, they tried to fob me off with they can stop my order but they tried to refuse a full refund, I told them I was going to get in touch with the BBC Rip Off Britian and let them deal with it if they refused the full refund, after half an hour on the phone and speaking in the end to a supervisor I did get my full refund but it will take 5 days to get it back into bank account, I told them if I did not receive this in the 5 days I would go public and let the world know what they doing.

    • Contact your bank
demand that they block all future transactions with this company.
      or
ask for a change of card as you think the one you have has been compromised.

  180. IF YOU HAVE ORDER A FREE SAMPLE OF THIS PRODUCT
PHONE 0800 026 5818 IMMEDIATELY AND CANCEL YOU SUBSCRIPTION.
The 14 day countdown starts from when you accepted the free sample online,
not from recite of goods. If the goods are delayed or not received You will still automatically be put on subscription. Without letters or email or confirmation of delivery.
I have also been told that their is no paper work with the delivery.
So unless you took down all the details when the offer was made to you, you will find it hard to contact them. I had the number given to me by the fraud department of my bank.
In a space of 60 day i had £927.70 removed from my account.
it is impossible to cancel payment from bank as they need 15 days to cancel this kind of payment.

  183. Hi There
I / we have been conned by this also, I bought this cream for my wife and did not realise the commitment in the small print, we were subsequently charged £89.95 + £1.50 postage for the second supply which has never been delivered. My wife is a beautician and tried the sample and found it to be useless, watery and of little value.
I have telephoned the free phone number several times to be told a refund would be made, this has not yet been refunded and the payment was taken in October 2016.
This appears to be a scam and should not be allowed to carry on.

  184. I “fell” for the pop-up ad offering FREE TRIAL for just £3.95 p/p. (putting my card details in –
the ONLY time I ever bought online other than airline/rail tickets.
When it arrived, there were 2 samples (I ordered one) and my card was debited by £3.95
    TWICE.
approx. 10 days later 2 amounts of £89.95 + 2 of £3.95 were taken from the A/C. I went into
Yorkshire bank – showing them the padded envelope which had a “return” address – a BOX
office no. in Larnaca, Cyprus. The arrogant male assistant said “that’s not relevant”. I was
assured that a stop had been put on the A/C.
It hadn’t – TWICE more – 2 of £89.95 and 2 of £3.95 were taken until finally I contacted the
Ombudsman. The bank repaid ALL the money with £100 compensation.
I want to know why have the Police not become involved – this scam must have netted
THOUSANDS for the “scammers”. Incidentally, I rang the 0800 no. and asked for the UK
address of this company and the chap said he was in COLUMBIA and didn’t know anything
    about UK.

  185. I ordered 2 bottles of training supplements each at 9.95 dollars, my account has been debited for over £500. Luckily my bank has refunded me and is investigating this scam.
Companies like this should not be allowed to trade and the owners should be prosecuted for fraud.
