Reawaken Eye Cream Trial Offer Review – Is it a scam?

Reawaken Eye Cream Trial Offer Review – Is it a scam?

The Reawaken eye cream is available for trial, which is often a bad sign.

Despite its impressive sounding claims, trial offers themselves have a bad name for themselves. This is because signing up to them often means that you are automatically signed up for an auto-ship program.

These programs will ship you monthly packages whether you want them or not. Often at a high cost to the customer.

The following review will look at this offer in more detail to see if this offer works in the same way.

Please read on to discover our findings.

Claims made by Reawaken

The following benefits have been claimed:

  • Help support under-eye skin health
  • Reduce under-eye dark circles
  • Smooth away wrinkles
  • Restore tone and texture

Whether these claims are accurate or not remains to be seen. You need to remember that these claims are designed to entice you to sign up for the offer.

Before you rush to sign up it is always worth spending a moment or two checking to see how accurate these claims are, for example are its ingredients likely to be effective?

Ingredients found in the Reawaken eye cream

The website itself has no label but it does have a section highlighting the ingredients and its effects.

These ingredients include Phytoceramides, Retinol Palmitate, Oligopeptide, Rosemary Extract, Balm Mint Extract and Xanthan Gum.

I can certainly see some benefit to using this product.

Are there any hidden charges?

There are numerous buttons on the website claiming that if you click them you can claim a “free bottle”, but this is not accurate as there is a $4.95 charge to pay even before the bottle is received.

After reading the T&Cs I can reveal that no part of this trial is free as just 14 days after sign up you will receive another charge to your account, this time for an amount totalling $88.62.

As we expected failure to cancel the trial will lead to an auto enrolment in the auto-ship program, meaning further monthly deliveries and charges will be sent.

These will continue until you contact Reawaken to cancel your subscription.

Is Reawaken a scam?

There maybe some benefit to using this product but there is no escaping the fact that you are bing lied to about the cost.

This product is certainly not free, and is likely to cost a lot more than you might expect.

The high cost makes it impossible to recommend so I suggest that you look for an alternative, we have suggested one for you below.

Contact details for the Reawaken eye cream

You should phone (877) 492-3005 to cancel your trial.

  1. Please read the terms and conditions. When I finally got someone to answer the phone after a 30 minute wait, the male representative actually laughed and was very rude. He thought it was very funny that I didn’t read the terms and conditions at the very bottom of the page. He was very rude and actually sarcastic. I have never had a merchant’s representative speak to me in that manner. If this prevents anyone else from such treatment, I will consider the $89 well spent!

    • BEWARE ~ BEWARE ~ BEWARE ~ This company’s “Customer Service Rep” was an absolute horrible, Rude, and just plain ignorant person. (Two of them were) How dare they rip off people and then speak to them in the manner that they did to me. They pretty much just laugh at you knowing all the while they ripped you off and there’s nothing you can do!! I too, have never had this type of treatment by A Rep who is suppose to be up-holding an excellent Image!! I hope this does help others. Please do not get scammed. Oh and the cream itself isn’t anything special. It’s very drying… actually something I would never ever use!! They also send you a “BONUS” Bottle of the face cream “Neuphoric”, and Charge you 80 some dollars for that, too…plus what you paid for shipping. The other thing too, is the fact that they start your trial the day it’s placed….And charged me before the junk was even received!!! STAT AWAY FROM THIS RIP-OFF COMPANY!!!!! ****OH AND THE OTHER THING IS ….****THEY ARE USING ANGELINA JOLI’S NAME TO SEE THEIR PRODUCT!!! I hope she slaps them with one helluva law-suit!!! In- time…They will get what’s coming to them!!!!!!

    • I paid the shipping and handling charge of $4.95 and received the cream but on the 14th day I contacted them. Are you ready for this? I told him I liked the stuff but couldn’t afford the $89.00/month cost. So he gave me his “employee discount” of….$21.50/ month total cost. I pushed a little further and told him I only needed it every 2 months and bingo, magic happened.
Sure enough in 2 months I received the stuff. Now being an older guy I’m not regimented enough to use this as directed so I really don’t know if I look much different and, push come to shove, I really don’t care. Anyway, my CC # was compromised and when the new one came I didn’t let them know the new # so the shipments stopped. Question: at $21.50 they apparently are still making money so how much does it cost to make this stuff?

  2. What a scam this reawaken eye cream and neuphoric face complex is. I carefully read the site and no where did it say I was enrolling for monthly shipments or that my free trial wasn’t free. It really makes me sick that these companies have to stoop to such low standards to sell their products. I’m calling my credit union now for reversal of these charges as well as calling the companies to tell them what I think.

    • Hi, just wondering what happened and if u got your money back or not? I was just ripped off by them and have two charges for 86 bucks that i DIDN’T SIGN UP FOR. i’M SO ANGRY.

      • I too got charged only days after receiving these two suposably free trial products. I didn’t read anywhere that I only had 14 days to try or I’d be charged $89.62 for one & $88.62 for the other then be put on auto ship. I sent an email to tell them get me off auto ship then called my credit card company & explained that I’d been wrongfully charged by these people. I hope I get my $ back as these products aren’t seeming to be doing anything except making my eyes tear! I’ll call them tomorrow hoping they’re not as rude as other people have said in their emails! Good luck to all who got mislead w this crap.

  3. DO NOT TRY REAWAKEN. I called to cancel the day I got it as I had read awful reviews, yet the lady said try it 2 weeks and call back if it didn’t work. Well, it did nothing for my skin. I called them after 14 days and they said I couldn’t cancel and that I owed them for a full months supply. I told them that it is written in their disclosure you can cancel at any time. Long story short, I kept little funds on my credit card and good thing too. What awful ethics !! Save yourself time and money. Take your money and invest in some good botox, which I did yesterday !!! Don’t fall for a manipulative firm trying to steal your money and using a product that doesn’t work.

  4. Oh My Goodness!!!! People do not associate your time or money with this very rude company, who use lying, scamming tactics to get people to buy their product, and claiming you’re just receiving a “trial offer” No where did it say anything about some enrollment club…. “Crap of the Month” it should be called!!! Such a shame there’s companies doing this to people. Especially when the product is horrible….And I mean horrible. It will dry out your skin and BURN it!!! Do Not Deal With This Company!!! SAVE YOURSELF!!!!

  6. Scam- scam-scam. My 4.95 (free) trial has now cost me over $250.00! Will not get a refund from the AWFUL customer Service (HAHA) rep. I have reported the charges as fraudulent to my credit card company.

    • Same happened to me. I also reported them to the Better Business Bureau. They charge over$80. for each little bottle. Don’t do it. They are liars.

  7. Two paper companies, Shining Beauty Care and Dawning Skin created by Blue Brain Innovations, LLC in Houston TX sell this product. Blue Brain was formed 12/29/2014 and operates out of a residential building. When I attempted to cancel my order the respondent said he would cut the price and also use his own personal discount to cut it further so long as I continued automatic purchases. I insisted on cancelling but am not sure that it will happen. I sent an email confirmation which I will use as confirmation of my request to my credit card company to disregard any further charges. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE COMPANIES.

  8. I was just scammed as well. I got this scam message saying I had won a free trial of this junk and al I had to pay was shipping. They said nothing about me being automatically signed up to get more of this crap and I my bank was charged twice one the same day $85 bucks before I ever even got my next shipment. All I have is the supposedly “free” sample they sent me yet I’ve just been charged a total of 170 bucks for something I didn’t even care about having and only did because I thought I was getting a free trial and all I had to pay was shipping to try it out. I’m so angry about being scammed by them and also when this crap arrived it had NO invoice inside the packaging stating anything baout a price or about future shipments or about ever being signed up for a monthly thing with them costing soooo much for a crappy product that only hurts your skin. I’m turning it in to the better business bureau and going to my bank to get these charges removed and I’ll even cancel my card and get a new one to prevent these jerks from taking more from me without my express permission.

  9. These guys are a scam, nothing is for free and they will charge you double shipping fees and use one box. Prices are way to high and it takes you 6 customer service employees to actually find you in there system. This is a scam, the cream it’s self is just not worth the time spend trying to find out why your credit card information was leaked out to other suppliers and why you are being charged for face cream that didn’t come with any account information or order numbers or contact information…. surely fine print can get the best of us but when it’s all a secret on totals and your card information being just thrown out there, it surely is one BIG SCAM!

  15. I did the free trial of neuphoric and it said I got a free $50 gift but it didn’t specify what this “free gift” was. No where did I see where it said I would be enrolled in auto ship. So I get 2 packages and see I was charged shipping for both packages. One was neuphoric and the other was reawaken eye cream (I assume is my “free gift” as nothing else ever came. About 5 or 6 days after receiving they charge my card for both products at full price. I disputed the charges and my cc gave me conditional credits for those as they wait to hear back from the company. I tried cancelling for a month with never getting anyone on the phone. You just sat for 15+ minutes waiting in line. They charged me yet again for another shipment of both products. I have disputed those charges as well and finally got a person on the phone to cancel. Not only was she extremely smart and rude, but, their phone kept cutting in and out making it extremely difficult to hear anything which is probably another part of their scam. I told her cancel do not send me anything else, do not charge my card again. She said my account was cancelled and I’d receive an email confirmation stating it was cancelled. Over 24 hours later, still no email. I cancelled my cc and ordered a replacement with another account number so they will never charge me another penny as I have this feeling that she did not cancel my account. Horrible customer service and shady business tactics.

  16. I certainly agree that it is a scam and because I was out of the country I did not catch the charges for several months. They refused to refund more than the last month and insisted that their ad clearly says she will be signed up for automatic refills. I read the “free trial offer” very carefully and did not see any indication of this or I would never have signed up.

  17. I was ripped off in the same manner as many people have reported, but the customer service woman I spoke with was very polite, at least. She told me the products were non-returnable, but offered me a 75% discount on the second shipment. I ended up accepting it and cancelling further orders. I immediately called my credit card company and they were great about blocking the company from further charges (no need to cancel card) and initiating credits for all of the charges incurred. As of now, I have received credits from the CC company for all four of the charges (2 products for 2 months) plus the 75% discount on the 2 products for the second month, so more credits than I actually paid for! I’m not quite sure what to do about that, but I’m not losing sleep over it, for sure! It feels awful to be scammed like this; shame on them!

  20. You can’t get anyone on the phone to cancel ? They say they’ll call you back. Still waiting , usually free trials are for 30 days not 14, but this one never mentioned this on the free trial sign up. Please read terms & conditions which I didn’t see on free trial offer. Not free u pay 2 separate s/h charges. I hope I get in touch w/ them I don’t want to pay $88+ for either products.

  21. Was charged $88 and $89 for both crap products and when I called to get a refund I was promptly told that that wasnt going to happen and I should have read the Terms and Conditions. He said they are a business and these “scams” are how they make their money. He then offered me a 35% refund, which I refused and demanded to speak to his manager. He said their was no one else to speak to as he was the one settling up the call centers. He finally offered me his “employee discount” for a 50% refund. By this point I knew I want going to get all my money back so I accepted it. I did receive an email stating they refunded me half my money on both products, but as of now I haven’t received my money back in my account. I am calling my bank to make sure I don’t get charged again.

  22. Scam scam scam. Should have known from how the website is set up and forced you to order another product until you skip skip skip to the end. Products waste of shipping and then this so called auto renewal we signed up for. First call jerry read off a card over me speaking. Cancelled but gave me no #. Called next product to make sure it was canceled and she was nice and gave me the number. Now trying to get charges off my credit card he states no return policy. Scammers

  23. As I read these reviews I wish I would have found this site sooner. It is 100% a scam. The product does not work and if it does have a longer time of using, I do not have the funds to receive this product every the ungodly amount that they are asking for it. Again, like the other reviews, the young lady names SCAM ALERTtold me that I didn’t read T&C so it was my fault. I indicated that nothing in the confirmation e-mail that I received indicated that this was a trial and that I would be charged after 14 days. Nothing received with product either when it arrived. I will dispute the charged through my bank. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT. SCAM ALERT

  24. It is so incredible how tricky companies are. Advertised as a shark tank success story! Now I know why! They trick you into a charge you aren’t aware of AFTER the fact and make millions off every buyer of this “FREE” trial product. I agreed to “only pay shipping and handling” and ended up paying more than 10 times that cost for something that doesn’t even work.

    SCAM SCAM SCAM

Now I have to waste lots of time to TRY and get my money back. The reps I talked to were rude. Both claimed that they were the supervisor when I asked to escalate the issue. Both claimed they didn’t have a boss or person that they directly reported to. They would not give me a name, phone, or address of who I could contact. Josh did call back and offered a 35% refund but that was a slap in the face.

I’m just glad my bank sent me a fraud alert this morning (the day after the “trial” period ended!

DON’T fall for this FREE trial SCAM!
