Everfirm Skin Trial Offer Review – Is this offer a scam?

Everfirm Skin Trial Offer Review – Is this offer a scam?

If you are worrying about the thought of getting older, perhaps a little self-conscious about those visible signs of ageing then you maybe temped by the Everfirm Skin trial offer.

At first glance the website seems impressive, but does the product itself offer any benefit?

The following review will look more closely at this product and the overall offer to see if you should sign up for the offer, or if it is better off avoided.

Please continue reading to discover whether Everfirm Skin can live up to its own hype.

Claimed benefits of Everfirm Skin

Using Everfirm Skin is claimed to offer the following user benefits:

  • Reduce appearance of lines and wrinkles
  • Improve elasticity and firmness
  • Support skin health and appearance

While these claims sound impressive, there is one question you should be asking yourself. Are these claims accurate?

To discover how effective this product truly is I would recommend looking more closely at the product, in particular the ingredients that it contains.

Ingredients found in Everfirm Skin

At the very bottom of the Everfirm Skin website is a link to its ingredients, which lists the following:

Water (Aqua), Sodium Silicate, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Algae Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Butylene Glycol, Xanthan Gum, VP/VA Copolymer, PVP, Potassium Sorbate, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Sodium Benzoate, Yellow 5 (CI 19140), Red 40 (CI16035)

While many of these ingredients can be found in other leading anti-ageing products there are also a few less desirable ingredients too. For example the colourings, are there any other non-natural ingredients to be found in this product?

True cost of the Everfirm Skin trial offer

The Everfirm Skin trial is certainly not a free trial, but this fact is not hidden as the cost is available to view just underneath the sign up form.

This states that there is a $5.95 shipping charge to pay when you first sign up, then a second charge just 14 days later for $87.35.

The trial leads onto an auto-ship program, so failure to cancel the trial will mean that further monthly deliveries and charges will be received.

Is the Everfirm Skin trial a scam?

There maybe some benefit to using this product, but is it worth its high price? Probably not.

It is due to its cost that we cannot recommend this offer, I would suggest looking for an alternative. There are plenty of products to choose from at a more cost effective price.

  1. I have been victimized by this not so “free trial”. When I tried to call and cancel any further charges, even though I recieved a confirmation number and told there would not be any charges, there were. The company refused to return the charges and only offered another free bottle or a 35% refund.

These unexpected charges left my account in deficit and my electric bill unpaid along with a $35 insufficient charge. I could not buy groceries for a week. Even though I explained this to the representatives, it made no difference. Their representatives were uncaring and either unable or unwilling to apply a 100% refund.

Terrible company, don’t recommend doing business with them.

    • I agree with you. So sorry you had this bad experience. Me too. At best a very shady company.

    • I signed up from a Facebook link and it did not state this was a subscription and I would be charged! I hope I’ve cancelled it but they won’t return my money. If not a scam certainly dishonest.

      • Same here…on the site it did not claim anything about 14 days and additional charges. My card company questioned it and blocked my card. They charged it at 2p.m. eastern time zone which made it actually be 11 p.m. on the 14th day. Very very rude when I called. I said I was going to let card compamy deal with them. She a truly said “it won’t do any good, we always win”. Tells me they do this a lot.

        • Correction to above…11 p.m. on the 13th day. Now I am process of disputing.

        • I also ordered off of the FACEBOOK page which did not say anything about the 14 days cancelation, I demanded my money back and I was going to report them to the BBB, the guy chuckled and said “go ahead – you didn’t read the fine print, it’s your fault”

          • I heard that as well chuckle and well you are not getting your money . I went through my bank and put in a dispute and I got my money back

          • I had same experience
I couldn’t find a phone number for them either. I had to call my bank. They were not going to give me any money back since I didn’t call within 14 days.. when I told them I couldn’t call because I could find no phone number or email contact. So I couldn’t call and told her I had to call the bank to get it. They then said they would give me 75% of my money back since I was unable to find a number
Thus is a very shady Company and they are not in the USA.they are in korea , china etc Do not do business with these people!!!!

      • Did they cancel your subscription for future shipments? I got an email to call to confirm my cancellation. When I called the girl said she couldn’t find my account & to call back in 30 minutes. At $90 a month I would expect more customer service.

      • I did this same thing. I looked all over that page to find out if I would be charged anything else, I could not find anything. I tried calling to ask, but the phone was never answered. The charges hit my bank today. The representative tells me that the terms and conditions state the further charges.

    • I too have been victimized by this company they claim one thing and then do another they say free trial for five dollars but that’s not true the trial starts the day you order it they tell you 30 days that’s not true they Bill you within 14 days when you haven’t been able to try it at all so please do not buy this product it doesn’t work anyway just warning big-time warning!!!!! it’s definitely a scam!!!!! For my little five dollar trial is cost me $177.30 be worn do not use this product !!!!

      • I had the same issue enough is enough ,they must be stopped, there legit, and it does say they will cancel after a few days but I used another website when I ordered and it never mentioned a subscription, They Must Be Stopped

    • I sent away for the so-called free trial, paying the shipping and handling. About a week later, I was charged $87.35 and $89.95. When I called the company to cancel, he said he marked my account to cancel, but that I would not receive a refund because I didn’t read the “terms and conditions.” Total bullshit. $177 isn’t chump change. It’s money I need. What a scam!

      • The ad for this free-trial showed up suddenly when I was searching something else pertaining to face cream. It seemed nice to have a trial for only shipping & handling of $5.95 ~~~ I ordered it and immediately another ad popped up saying I could, for $4.95,shippng and handling, also order the eye serum. They arrived in a few days. I checked my bank account online to see the charges a couple of days later, and about passed out. They had charged my account for both S&H for the two items, then a few days later $87.35 & $89.95 ~~~~on a Sunday. I knew I had a large check out that had not cleared my account and a smaller one also. I live on a small retirement income, so watch my money carefully. I called the company and was irate that I never saw anything saying in so many days they would charge the full amount . I demanded my monies be returned to my account and was told a bunch of reasons why they would in no way reimburse me. I asked to speak to a supervisor. Finally, after much time wasted waiting, the person returned to the phone and said they would return the $177.30. They did in a couple of days, but by then the checks I had out cleared my bank and I had 2 overdrafts totaling over $70+! They surely seem like a scam. I only wish I had done some research and had been aware of what you all have written here. Will NEVER fall into a trap like this again!! Thanks for all the input!

    • I too, had the same insensitive customer service person when I called to cancel. The unexpected charges on my account was nearly 200.00! I offered to return the unused products…..I was then asked if I had any comment as to how the product worked! I could not get all the charges refunded, but hey said they would give me half back…I will not hold my breath!

      • The same thing just happened to me, I ordered the free trial, they had nothing about subscription on there, I read to make sure cause I know usually when you order free trials a lot of time they will state that after a certain amount of time for you to cancel. I got a call from my bank on a Saturday, asking if I had purchased something in the amount of $89.95, I almost went crazy I stated oh no, I have not ordered anything, so he said we will have to block your card, I told him yes block my card cause I did not make an order for nothing, the name they had on first for the payment was not everfirm, so he asked if I had purchased the 5.98 and it was another item and it did state everfirm, I stated, yes, but that was the oly thing that was ordered, he then stated you will have to go into the bank and they will have to issue you another card. I then saw on yesterday, on my account the amount pending of $89.95 with a 800 number, I called the number the lady went on to tell me that it states that after 14 days if I did not call to cancel I would be charged, I told her it was noway they had that on that site, cause had I seen something like that, I would not have ordered it. I told her to cancel that, then she tells me my bank denied the claim, I told her good that they did that cause they called me about this charge and that now they want be able to charge another charge because that card is inactive, she told me in order for me to get a refund me and the bank will have to call and we be on three way, I told her nope, noway me, her and no bank will be on a three way, I know infact that the card was cancelled. She will tell me that the only way it could get cancelled, I told her that will be her problem cause like your recorder stated, this call maybe monitored, this is my notice to you to cancel any and all future orders with this company.

    • Had the exact same issue. What a scam.

    • Unfortunately, I’ve had the same experience. Called numbers on credit card statement 3 times. On hold for an hour – each call and no answer.

Went through my credit card company and reported as FRAUD. Rec’d credit for charges and blocked company from future charges. Will continue to watch CC account for any future charges and report immediately. Also making a fraudulent claim at the federal and state level.

Companies like this make it difficult for those businesses that are transparent and ethical.

    • They got me too. I can’t believe they are still out there doing this to so many. I reported my complaint to the Better Business Bureau. I saw countless bad reviews and complaints there.
Ladies, BEWARE! Don’t get caught with Everfirm and their other names they also go by.

  2. I received this offer through a Kroger survey and was charged and couldn’t cancel my order due to the fact that they gave faulty phone numbers and faulty email addresses. The original shipping charges caused a flag on my credit card .

    • So, I got an “egg” with a supposed free offer after making an Amazon purchase. The egg was labeled Amazon, but I now believe had nothing to do with them.

I’m told I accepted an agreement that allowed the Auto-Ship to begin if I didn’t call within 14 days. I don’t recall doing this since I did this on my cell phone. I guess I didn’t question it because I’ve tried other skin care products in which you could ALWAYS get a refund if you returned the product, even if you were signed up for auto-ship.

Even if Everfirm is an okay product, which I’m not convinced it is, I will NEVer buy through them again given the way they do business. Some agreements, while legal, are still a scam. I hope people catch on over time so that they lose business. The long run will be telling.

  3. Terrible experience with this company. I hadn’t read all of the small print. I had bought in to the trial offer, and I called the day the trial ended (today, the 10th) after discovering that more than
$175.00 had been deducted from my bank acct. Company policy is to cut off the monthly charges after the first billing. They agreed to refund half of what they took – which to me is grossly insufficient.
The language used to describe (see Google) the products is incomprehensible. Where are these people and what real ingredients are they using? I wouldn’t bother to respond now except to warn anyone tempted to try Everfirm …. AVOID it.

  4. This is such a scam! I tried to cancel after being charged and it was incredibly difficult to find a customer service number and after refusing to refund my money they gave me 35%back then send me more product! I refused the shipment but this is not right i cancelled over a month ago and now have to deal with them again. Next step is calling me credit card and reporting fraud. Stay away!!!!! If it is a good product they wouldn’t have to scam you into buying it.

  5. I agree with everyone. This company is shady. They post “stars” opinions such as Oprah, who are paid a fee to promote their product. I’m sure they don’t even use it.
They are probably laughing all the way to the bank.

  6. I use a prepaid credit for online purchases because of scams such as this. Your free samples are not really free. They tell you all you have to do is pay for shipping. This turns out to be a lie. They lock you in on the product at an outrageous price stating you agreed to the terms so the deliver this product to you every 30 days and tell you if you want to cancel the order, you have 14 days to do this. But when you try to cancel the order, you can’t get anyone at the number, it’s disconnected or you’re placed on hold and never speak with anyone. The awful thing is, they have your credit card information. That is why I use prepaid debit/credit cards. If the company does not accept prepaid credit cards, don’t order from them. They can only charge a prepaid debit card if the money is on the card. That’s why these company’s won’t accept prepaid debit cards. A credit card is different, they can charge your account over and over again. The only thing left to do is get a replacement credit card. Sorry this is long but I wanted to give you as much information as possible. I tried to place an order with them using my prepaid debit/credit card and the rejected it. Their reply was, they don’t accept prepaid debit/credit cards.

  7. Knew I made a mistake as soon as I did it. Have been down this road before with a different company. Could not find pricing for this product anywhere in their advertisement! SCAM to get CC information. Surprised Lori Grenier would be involved. Trying to cancel now,

  8. These people are lowlife!! They apparently train their “customer service” people to be rude to try to discourage people from following up on complaints – I even had one hang up on me!! If I was “informed” of the 14 day grace to cancel it was NOT obvious & never did I see until my credit card statement the true cost of this product!!! Even if I wanted it I could not use that much skin care in a month. I have filed a complaint with my state’s attrny general’s office as well as every other agency I can get an address for including Facebook who needs to delete advertising for this product. TOTAL SCAM

  9. BEWARE!!!!! IT’S A SCAM !!!!! The cost of the everfirm product is not reasonable. It’s only .50 Oz (15ml) and they charge you for 89.75 for that tiny bottle. Makes me wonder what kind of ingredients they really put into these product. They already lied the real cost and put you on auto shipment which you did not sign for it.

  10. I agree with all of the comments having experienced the same outcome. I’ve contacted Lori Grenier through her website and recommended that she come out against this company and their use of her name and picture in their advertising. They sent an email regarding the 50% refund but I am going to contact the NYS Attorney General’s office as well. Anyone out there who is thinking of trying this product, DO NOT.

  11. This company is a scam They tell you it’s a free trial then charge you $89.95. Stay away!!

  12. What is the cost? How to order? Do you expect to have monthly orders from clients??

  13. I tried to cancel my order 1 hour before the time limit and the woman kept offering me different items till I had to get irrate with her at which time she said she cancelled it. ..only to find out that she didn’t and I was charged 87.35 anyway.. I strongly suggest not ordering.

  15. Do not order anything from this Everfirm company…ever! Be advised they advertised to try the products for shipping & handling of $4.95 each. They never said you would then be enrolled to pay $89.95 for the products. Not to mention that even if you are dissatisfied you cannot obtain even a partial refund. They are running a fraudulent business and could care less about consumers!

  16. I am embarrassed to admit I did the same things, as those above.

    I knew better!! Ughhhh….

I did speak with a Matt today. I asked for his email, his superiors email or a company email. He refused to give me any of them, so I could make a written complaint.

Now I know, it is not a legitimate company, that’s why there is no emails.

  17. This is the biggest scam I have ever seen charged my account $175.00 that I did not approve tried 2 get my money back of course not. Glad 2 c im not the only one no wonder the company is 4 sale. I can’t afford this.i will b filing a complaint with the better business bureau

  18. OMG I should have known better…… yes it is a scam….. very hard to cancel or impossilbe…. they will take your money…. better close your account now! I did not sign for auto shipments of this stuff……. I sent for a “free trial”……. seriously I should have known better……. big fraud

  19. I too fell for the “trial offer”. They were rude and told me I signed a contract by agreeing to sample. Credit card blocked now but they got me for 40 bucks!! Never again will I take a free offer. They also sent skin cream that I didn’t order. Tried to do the same thing with that.

  20. I ordered this product first and then immediately decided to research reviews. A dumb approach on my part!!! So within 30 minutes of then reading the reviews I decided to immediately cancel my order. Although the rep was polite and said the account and order would be closed, I would still be charged for shipping since the labels are automatically generated when the order is placed. I was not happy with that explanation…SCAM????… but I am hoping I will only be out the $11 shipping charges and not the cost of the product, as seems to be the case with other consumers after making attempts to cancel the trial offer. Only time will tell if my account and trial offer were truly canceled after my initial phone call to the company.

  21. I also ordered using the offer where you only pay the shipping charges. Unfortunately, i did not read the fine print so of course on 16th day when I noticed the $177.30 charges on my account it was too late to get a full refund. I noticed talking to the dispute representative, they are prepared to discuss how they will fight with your financial institution and receive the payment anyway. I was able to get at least 50% refunded back.As far as the product, i have stopped using it. I have noticed that I have developed a few bumps under my eye. It actually looks worst now than before I started using this product. I personally do not recommend this product.

  22. I odered FREE ssamples where you only pay a small shipping charge,. but it was a scam. Chargess close too $200 appeared on my credit c ard.

    • I too was misinformed. After the 200.00 transaction made to my checking account that I never authorized I called them only to tell me that it is stated on the website about the time frame of 2 weeks . It is a legit website and it does state a time .When I ordered my trial samples I was informed only of the shipping charges of 4.95 and 5.95 I only ordered the eye serum but when they send me a email about my shipping charges is when I noticed the charge for the face cream. I excepted the second shipping charge anyway,. I wasn’t aware that I had to cancel. I used a facebook link to order my trial samples and nothing else. I have read all the reviews and they are scamming all of us. They must be stopped. WE need to call the bbb or the ftc to put a stop to there business.

  23. This “company” is deceitful in their adds. I too hot scammed. When I called to complain, I got into a shouting match with the rep. Basically she told me that it wasn’t her fault that I didn’t read about the 14 day trial and they don’t refund money. I asked for her supervisor, who initially she didn’t have, and then the super was busy with other calls. I got the reps name and Toler her that we better not get
disconnected. It took 37 minutes to talk with Doug. He offered a 35% refund, then a 50% refund, then a 75% refund. I took the 75% deal.
Still angry at myself for falling for this scam. I’m on a fixed income. Would still like to look good. It is a shame that people take advantage of others

  24. I to had the same issue, there legit on there website and do state they would do the refund within a few days, but I used a different website that only offered the free trial and I only would pay shipping but didn’t say anything about a subscription

  25. Pay attention folks, no “free offers” are actually free because these “offers” ALWAYS have a subscription for automatic charges connected to them. In addition the published phone number to cancel is almost always busy or not answered.
If you sign up for one of these offers always call the credit card company as soon as the “free trial” offer is charged for shipping. Then tell the credit card company you have lost your card and need a need a new one. If the credit card company allows charges from your old credit card to be charged to the new card then tell them you wish to place a dispute for any further charges this company tries to make on the new card. This way the scammers cannot charge you further. If they send you more product after getting a new card the product is yours for free. Since they charged your card after it was cancelled and a new card was issued with a new credit card number you will not be responsible for charges against a closed card.
I always use a card specifically used for online offers just in case there is an issue with offers charged to a credit card. Good luck to you all.

  26. This company is a rip off and I have never been so mad. A 14 day trial doesn’t even give a person a chance to see if they like it or not. They were rude and really didn’t care! I hope that whoever is behind this can sleep at night. I feel that there is no makeup in this world worth that kind of money. Sweet dreams you nasty people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  27. Do not order this! It is a scam! I have been duped before so I made sure to read everything and nowhere did I read that in 14 days I would be charged the full price! I had only had the product for 9 days when the charge hit my account. I called and was given a line of bullcrap. Will be contacting the BBB for sure to complain! I don’t have almost $200 laying around to waste on something like this!

  28. These skin cream offers are such a scam, they pull you in with an article on Yahoo news such as “Queen Elizabeth Is Reportedly ‘Angry’ With Meghan Markle For A Very Strange Reason? then you find out its just an advertisement for their cream. You can read comments but they are bogus because when you want to comment you can’t, there is no link. Its atrocious.

  29. This is a total marketing scam. Which is a pity, as I might have bought the product (at a lower cost). I do like it. Not worth price. Free sample thing a total scam. They straight up lied. Nothing free. I will broadcast against this company to all. They are knowingly stealing. Hard for me to believe legal. May consult law friend. Probably covered their lying asses with small, never read print. That’s how crooks do it these days. But, small world with WEB. Broadcast to everyone you know: This company are thieves.

  30. These guys are frausters and should not be patronized they lure into buying their product after givong them your card details they will come bank and take 200 dollars from your account..DO NOT PATRONIZE THEM!…its a scam.

  32. I applied for the trial however I did not agree for continued usage. Today another box arrived which I did not order. I do not want this product as it does not work. How can I return it as I can’t afford it on Social Security. Wish answer asap please.

  33. I cancelled this after I found out what I would be charged. They were kind to me and helped cancel. I learned a lesson. I was afraid to lose money.

  34. I cancelled by e- mail after countless number of phone calls when I just waited on line for 20 minutes. Then the company proceeded to sent me another order and said they cannot cancel it. They claim they responded to my email in which I cancelled by asking me if I wanted to get a 35% discount. I never received that alleged mail from them(maybe it went into spam) but I cancelled on December 2 and they mailed another order out on December 15. I refuse to pay for it. When I called the company today, she agreed to cancel subsequent order. I never used the product and am afraid to, after reading all of the complaints above. What a scamming company!!!Impossible to reach purposely!!!

  35. While I reviewed the website thoroughly several times, I did not see that this was a 14 day trial and would be billed in two weeks, then monthly for additional shipments. You should be ashamed of yourselves for tricking honest consumers.
If you are selling subscriptions for products, it should be made clear, BOLDLY, of such intent and not omitted or placed elsewhere in fine print so that consumers are not privy to the disclaimer.

    Pamela Mitchell

  36. I am cancelling my order for any business with this company from 1/07/20 forward, as of 1/07/20.This company is a scam and will be reported to the authorities. I will no longer do business with you. Please refund any returns to Wyndham Rewards credit card JMR

    • Judy, this page is a review.

      • Wish I had read up on this company before I requested the free trial size. Of course it was not free and my card was charged an additional amount. I could not locate any phone numbers for them and emails have been unanswered. The ad I saw stated the trial size was $4.95 and I did not see anything about a subscription. Well they got me! Thought I was reading everything about the offer, but obliviously I didn’t. I will not order anything else from this company and I will warn others not to do so either. I hate when this happens!

Yea… Get in line, the end of a seriously long line of 100% dis- satisfied, upset, angry to down right PISSED OFF! As this site says far above, this little rid bit of call them within 14 days OR ELSE! This was located beneath the sign up that most of us all dealt with & in extremely small print as well. I should’ve known better, but I did not see that MAJOR statement stashed so cleverly down and out of the way.
So a kind & patient young man Sergio tried telling me I was charged $177.00 PLUS. FOR THE TRIAL SAMPLE. PLUS, THE FEE I INITIALLY PAID FOR EYE & FACE CTEAM + SHIPPING… & WE ARE TALKING ABOUT SAMPLE SIZES AS WELL! It made no true impression upon me so I just moved onward, as I signed, agreed to NOTHING! I have since had 2 more boxes sent at $177.00 EACH!! (3 TOTAL NOW! ( As I have been away & was clueless these gems were waiting on me
OH & NOW I AM TOLD THERE IS A NO RETURN OF PRODUCT AT ALL!!. I asked over & over where does it say this!!??? He tried schmoozing me with 35% off + 1 free bottle! No THANK YOU! Then he went to 50% off for life!! To, one month of three free. So now instead of $531.00 of wish I have already had plucked from MY account. I am only charged $354.00. Do not send product back, once you PAID its yours, period.

For SAMPLE SIZE BOTTLES!? “Right” he said.
I adamantly stuck with TJIS IS UNACCEPTABLE, NO!
He then Said he was handing me over to his mgs. I had been asking for all along. That this mgs. was now going to strip me of his free 1 box offer & I took it as a threat.
In the back of my mind I just knew there HAD TO BE 1 + MORE SITES LIKE THIS! Sure enough & BLESS YOU!

And sharks just keep getting richer… BLESS everyone of you above me & all the more that will surely, no doubt follow behind me!
What can be done? What can I do to help??
    Jeri R.

  38. To any smart shopper who might have a tad more smarts to check in advance as this long list & myself obviously were thinking, only, can’t wait to try this MAGIC SAMPLE we keep hearing about…
    Do your self a FAVOR!!
Dealing with crooks AGES YOU & the cream is okay, but the STRESS WILL MAKRE IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR US “SUCKERS” TO THRIVE WITH IT.
    THX for listening…
