Is the Encante Anti-Ageing Serum a scam?

Is the Encante Anti-Ageing Serum a scam?

The Encante Anti-Ageing Serum is claimed to be better than Botox, but is it? And if it is more effective how does it work?

In this review we will look at this trial offer in more detail to discover the truth behind this trial and whether we would recommend it or not.

Claims made by Encante Anti-Ageing Serum

  • Injection-free solution for younger looking skin
  • 84% increase in skin moisturisation
  • 95% reduction in micro wrinkles
  • 73% increase in skin elasticity

While this all sounds promising I would worry about claims using percentages, especially when there is no proof to back up the claims.

I would suggest that you wait to sign up at least until you know exactly what this anti-ageing serum actually does. With a closer look at its ingredients the easiest way to check.

What does Encante contain?

Unfortunately despite making some big claims of “revolutionary” and “innovative science” there is not one mention of what Encante contains.

This is disappointing as how else are you going to verify the claims?

As it stands there is no way of knowing if any benefit will be gained from using this product.

Price of Encante Anti-Ageing Serum

While it is not immediately clear what the price of the Encante trial offer is. After reading the terms and conditions I can see that there is a $5.95 charge when you first sign up, then another $98.71 charge just 14 days later.

As with most trial offers signing up to this offer allows the manufacturer to send further monthly packages to you.

Encante operates as an auto-ship program so these deliveries will continue until you cancel the subscription.

Is the Encante Anti-Ageing Serum a scam?

This trial has its payment terms listed so I cannot go as far as calling it a scam. However there is nothing about this offer that I would recommend.

There is no proof of its claims, no ingredients listed and the price is simply too high.

If I were you then I would look for an alternative.

Contact details for Encante

To cancel your trial before you are charged then you will need to phone Encante on 877-494-0812

Alternative to the Encante Anti-Ageing Serum

Our suggested alternative to this serum would be the Evolution Slimming Anti-Ageing Skincare Bundle that will provide you with the following benefits:

  • More vibrant looking skin
  • Gently cleansed skin
  • Fewer wrinkles and puffiness around eyes
  • Firmer and smoother skin

This package is not available for trial, so there are no hidden or repeat charges to contend with.

    • This is one big scam which should be investigated. There is no way i would sign up to an agreement which would cost me £89.95 for an eye cream or the same amount for a foce cream. Where in the original free offer does it tell you these prices.
I shall be persuing this matter vigillently till i receive a full refund.

      • I had no idea that they charged that & the eye cream is the same amount to, infact idk until Dec 1st when I got into my online banking to pay a bill
By surprise I found 98.00 for face surum & $99.00 for the eye cream I was pissed so I called customer service (Each one has a separate customer service) & they would only refund me $64 so then I call for the other & I had to fight with them just to get back $34.17 so out of 198.00 total spend I only got back $98.88 & I’m out $100.00, and I didn’t see anywhere the amount u would get charged If anyone takes action against them please let me know Here’s my e-mail….Hotnana215@yahoo.com Because I’m Pissed & I want the rest of my money back

        • The same thing just happened to me and I’m outraged and mad beyond belief. I had no idea that these 2 products were separate , yet shipped in the same box, and charged $5.95 each. And then the same charges showed up on my credit card. I lost $100 as well, and in no way can afford that. I told them how dishonest they are, but they don’t care. I don’t know what else to do.

          • Happened to me, saw the Free Trial as a pop-up on something either e-mail possibly ‘Facebook and I fell for it and ordered understanding it was only shipping charges.
Got my bank statement and wow, there was a charge for the Eye Serum and Eye Cream. approx. $200. If you look at the volume in the trial container for the Eye cream it is 0.5 oz. Yes that is “Zero” point 5 oz. Application is to use a pea size under eye and around O. Bone. I happen to have 2 eyes and 2 bones. A person could go broke using this product. Not many peas fit in 0,5 oz container. You even have to use a magnifying glass to read the directions on the jar. I was a real sucker! Nothing in life is FREE.

        • Same thing happened to me. If you get an action against them, let me know. I’ll back you!

I told her I never saw that high of a price tag,and was told I need to read ALL the paragraphs……….LIve and learn I guess………..what can you do.please if there’s a way let me know,Thanks Tina

          • The very same thing happened to me earlier this year. You absolutely cannot return the product or get a refund and they were quite rude providing that info. This appears to be monumental rip-off andone of the biggest scams I’ve seen or personally experienced in the last 10 years as is obvious by the reams of complaints from dissatisfied customers on various websites. I am still in the rebuttal process with the help of my Credit Union M/C representative. My main complaint other than feeling very stupid is the fact that you can’t even read the small print in the ad on any website without using a magnifying glass. I hope they get exposed soon for the scam-artists they are!!!

        • If anyone takes action against that company let me know..Same thing happened to me and I want my money back.

    • This cite is a total scam we signed up for a free trail to just pay about 5.00 for shipping on a trial bases, all of a sudden I’m being charger $90 for one item and 99 for another item. I understand that this was going to be a monthly charge. After about 2hrs on the phone I managed to get a partial rebate. I’ve called my bank to stop all payment in the future. I’m in the process of going to the Better Business Bureau to report them

      Reply
      • Did you get any satisfaction from your complaint to the Better Budiness Bureau? I heard from a collection agency to collect $197.72 for two products which were bought on a trial basis. I too couldn’t read the fine print. There should be an action suit against the company.

  3. I am VERY VERY upset with the on line company that I ordered your trial test from! I was away when the product arrived and actually have not yet use the serum.. they told me that the 2 week trial starts the day I ORDER !! How unfair is that when it takes a week to get to me! – Anyway I wanted to return the items and they absolutely refused… said it was all nonreturnable even though they were not used…really poorly handled and I am upset. They agreed to a 35% credit which means I MUST keep the product. I had no choice but to accept their terms but would appreciate someone within your company get in touch with me.

      • I was falsely charged for two KAM products that I never heard of and never received. After an hour argument with KAMouiveyecream, they did reluctantly agree to refund me the
$89.77 that they charged me for it. They insisted I ordered their product and sent it to me, but I never ordered or heard of it. I hope they will!

No such luck with the KAM face serum at a different number. At that number I was told I had called Encante. They did say I ordered that product and that they sent it to me — but that’s absolutely untrue. I don’t buy face serums for almost $100!

Does anyone have any information about where to get help? I would appreciate it.

        Reply
    • I am surprised to hear they would not accept returners, even unopened ones. I was alerted and canceled within the time frame. After some insistence, I was given a cancellation # and there was no mention of returning the product. I then called the $1.99 number (just to be sure) and she acknowledged my cancellation, but insisted I had to return the product even though the seal was broken (I had not used it). Since I was not getting my trial fees back, you would think I could keep the product. It was a TRIAL after all. Don’t they assume it would be partially used within that period? So is it not a FREE trial? Or is it just a tactic to force you to buy? The woman was adamant that I return the item (even with the cellophane removed) within 2 weeks or be billed.
I was given this return address:P.O. 25380, SANTA ANA, CA 92799.

  4. I have an issue with getting a refund on order#717867. Encanteskin says they refunded to my bank in early November. My bank has no evidence of a refund. I talked with a very helpful man today and he directed me to email you and ask that you look into the problem. Thank you, and I look forward to hearing from you.

    • Why would they ask you to contact an independent review website? My suggestion would be to speak to your bank to get a refund from Encante themselves as it sounds as though they are giving you the run around.

  5. I just got abottle of the face cream that I had canceled over 5 months ago. there was a small slip thanking me for my order, no listed price, just a phone no. I called and the lady said it had not been canceled. I can assure that I did cancel 5 months ago. She said my account had been charged over $90 for it and they do not give refunds. I am 78 and get by on SS There is no way that I would spend that on a face cream. I hope there is someway to stop this scam

  7. Encante is a scam to get you to try their free trial serum for 5.95 but yet you have 14 days to “call them to give a review” at which time you can cancel the order but by then they have already charged you 98.71 for your first automatic order you didn’t sign up for. Not only do they charge for that, they also charge another 99.01 for the eye cream that you never ordered and then talk to you rudely that it is your fault that you didn’t read the fine print.

They also wait to ship it so I received the products 10 days later but the 14 days start the day you order it so you have no time to try it or call and cancel but that is their scheme. Don’t fall for it like I did. Their ad popped up on a site I go to frequently so thought it was legit. I will never do that again. I am disputing with my bank and they are handling.

The interesting part is they do tell you to call 2 different numbers to cancel both products (even though you only ordered 1) because they aren’t the same company, and they ironically give you the same cancellation number. The eye cream is no where on their website. This company is ripping people off daily and somehow we need to stop them!! Thank you for this website in helping get the word out!

    • I just got ripped off too. I was checking it out and before I could cancel or check it out the sight went off and back to my E-Mail. I got the bill for shipping and so I thought, well it did go through. I thought maybe if you liked it you could order it not getting to read the information and not knowing the price. They billed me 98.71 for the eye cream and 99.01 for the face cream. I called both of them. I ask if I could send it back as I have not opened it and he said no refunds but he would give me 1/2 of my money back $49.50 . I called the face cream and he said I could send back the face cream and pay $9.95 for restocking which I agreed to. He did not know their address even though he works for the company. I can not find the address anywhere. If anyone knows the address please help. My phone # is 417-678-5451 or 417-229- 0747. I think we should all call BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. tHIS IS A LOT OF MONEY FOR NOTHING. i HAVE READ NOTHING BUT COMPLAINTS ABOUT THEM AND THEIR PRODUCT.

  9. I had the same situation, only the product was listed as Solois eye cream. It IS the same product & same scam! When my trial eye cream did not arrive before the 14 day grace period, I became suspicious. After not being able to get through I tried a different number I had found on the net & asked to cancel. (855 712-7983) Instead of canceling my order I was sent the same product under the Encante name & charged $99.01. I called the above number listed on my credit card bill to find out what was going on & they were rude, belligerent & very threatening! I was forced to cancel my credit because they had my information & we’re not going to stop charging me. The worst part is I developed a very bad reaction under my eye which is still swollen 2 weeks later. These piranha pray on women they don’t think will speak up. Make your credit card company aware of both names & warn your friends & family. I deal with 100’s of women a week & when I mentioned this scam, I was taken back by how many people had the same experience. Please speak up & fight back, what this company is doing is just as awful as their basement made product!

  18. I’m dissatisfied with your so-called trials for Encante products. I don’t mind paying the price of $5.95 ea for the serum & creme trials, I’ve only had them for two weeks going on 3rd wk to try. I ordered on 1/4. On 1/19 you already charged me $197.72 for products I have not even received. Your add was at least 30 days to try it before I needed to cancel if I was not satisfied. I have started a dispute with my card company because your timing just screams SCAM. Two weeks and I don’t know if your products are helping or not. I’m certainly not going to buy under this sort of pressure for such a large amount. How could you not be more sensitive to that if you really believe your product is worth it. Now I really have my doubts and seeing all the comments on line. I certainly want this cancelled and the pre-mature charges reversed.

  24. We also had no idea that we were signing up for a subscription. That information was not clear on the website at all. Our credit card was charged twice, and we have not received any products yet other than the trial product. Lucky USBank declined the transactions and we received a suspicious activity alert. We’ll have to call USBank to make sure that they keep on denying payment.

I called one of the support phone numbers for the product and was told that we can not cancel the subscription after it has been billed even though we have not received the product yet. They will not cancel it unless we pay the balance.

I will report this to the BBB also and work with our bank for resolution. We can not afford the product.

  27. the terms and conditions says they will charge you the full amount if you do not call within the 10 days. they give you an additional 4 days for shipping so it’s a total of 14 days to cancel. You are charged 5.95 for shipping and handling after if you do not cancel you will be charged $98.71. They are very smart on how they word everything. Something told me to read the terms and conditions because I knew there would be something sneaky about this trial offer. After reading the reviews I think I will pass.

  28. It is a shame that you can not trust anyone today when the offer a free trial. I did not mind paying $5.95 shipping twice to get the product.and it may be a very good product but nothing they can do after they charged me nearly $200.00 for the free trial that starts on the day you order the product not when you receive it and start to use it. 14 days after they go my credit card # they charged my bank for the two $99.00 charges. I thought they were automatically shipping me two more bottles of they product, How stupid of me, when I called to inquire as to why I was being shipped and billed for two more bottles of the eye and skin care, I was informed , was not getting any additional product, I was being billed for the free product I was shipped and had not cancelled the free trial in time (!4 Days). How can you offer something free but it’s not free after 14 days. This is the last time I will give out my bank card or credit card to any online Company. I will use Pay Pal. the is there is a problem Pay Pal will take care of it and I do not have to get upset over some scam. USE PAY PAY FOR EVERYTHING ON LINE IF THEY DO NOT ACCEPT PAY PAL DON”T BUY FROM THEM.

Today I called the 877 494-0812 and spoke with Bianca of Irvine, CA who said she cancelled my account and I wouldn’t be billed or receive any more products. After reading all your comments, I think it remains to be seen. My next move is to contact my credit card company to complain. As an alternative to the BBB , which I have never found to be helpful, the California Attorney General is the place where we should be going to get results.

  31. As a fu (follow-up) to my yesterday’s comments, I spent the time contacting the California Attorney General and the AG of my own state,it’s easy because you can do it all online. I wished I saw all these comments before I ordered Encante but I was duped by seeing Joy Behar endorsing the products and I always liked her. But if I hadn’t seen her and Whoopie talking about Encante this week along with Candace (whose mother also purchased them), I would not have known about the “scam” as per Joy and Whoopie. At that point, I didn’t know $197.72 charges had hit my credit card because my bill hadn’t come in yet, but yes I was charged on 7/8/16! This is much more than a scam, it’s outright consumer fraud and should be reported as such. Please note all the negative comments online about Encante and their practices, I just wished I thought to look at them first but when I saw Joy Behar’s name connected to the products I trusted it. Whatever you do spread the word to contact the California Attorney General and the AG of your own state too. This company must be stopped before other unsuspecting consumers get trapped by their underhanded tactics!

  32. ENCANTE is the biggest scam yet and must be investagated by the FDA. It’s a beauty products deceiving the public and the Ad is even worst. The trial for $9.99 for 14 days turned costly for me; my credit card was charged over two hundreds dollars, so I contacted my cc and told them about the products and cc called Encante to dispute the charges and they agreed to cut it in half but I’m not sastified and will fight back so the consumers don’t fall for their misleading advertising and I’ll contact AG in my state as well as California AG. This company online must be stopped. Ripping off the public. Last but not least I feel like an idiot for not reading the fine prints and the bad reviews. I’m usually skeptical when buying anything online and this awful experience proof my point. The celebrity behind this Encante should be ashamed as well as other celebrities endorsing this product. Shame on them. I’ll boycott anything or any shows they’ll be on it. They can be trusted. Buyer be aware!! Warning!!!
