Avoir Derma Anti-Ageing Cream Review – Is this a scam?

Avoir Derma Anti-Ageing Cream Review – Is this a scam?

Trying to regain your lost youth? If so then you maybe tempted to sign up for the Avoir Derma trial offer.

This anti-ageing cream is currently available for trial, which is surely a good deal, right? Well, the truth is that many trial offers are not as good a deal as they appear to be.

I would suggest that if you are considering signing up for this offer that you first read our review. We will soon reveal if this is a good offer or not.

Claims made by Avoir Derma

According to their website the following user benefits are likely:

  • Cleanse, exfoliate, tone, hydrate and protect your skin
  • Reduce fine lines
  • Clean blocked pores
  • Remove oil and dead skin cells

To check that these claims are accurate we will need to look more closely at the ingredients used.

You should never sign up for an offer without first checking what actual effects it will have on you.

Ingredients found in Avoir Derma

Avoir Derma has the following ingredients listed:

Purified Water, Propylene Glycol, Paraffinum Liquidum, Stearic Acid, Cetyl Alcohol, Hydrolyzed Marine Collagen, Ceteareth 20, Dimethyl MEA, Palmitoyl Oligopeptide, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-7, Silanetriol, Glutamylamidoethyl Imidazole, Fructose Oigossacharides, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Porphyridium Cruentum Extract, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Polysorbate 20, Triethanolamine, Resveratrol, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Fragrace (Parfum), Inositol, Phytic Acid, Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), Retinol Palmitate (Vitamin A Palmitate)

Many of these ingredients have been used in other leading anti-ageing products so there is likely some benefit to be gained from using this product.

Price of Avoir Derma

First off I need to say that this is not a free trial. Most trials are much more expensive than you may think.

After sign up you will be given just 18 days to decide if this product is for you.

If it isn’t then you must contact Avoir Derma, otherwise you are going to be charged the full purchase price of $87.50.

You will also find that you will be added to an auto-ship program, meaning that further monthly packages will be sent to you at full price.

Is the Avoir Derma trial offer a scam?

Despite its ingredients likely to offer some benefit there is no way that we can recommend this trial offer and that is for one reason alone, the high price.

There are plenty of alternatives available that are much more affordable, I would recommend you opt for one of those.

Alternative to Avoir Derma

XYZ Smart CollagenThe product we would recommend as an alternative would be XYZ Smart Collagen.

It contains proven ingredients that can help promote the production of collagen. The rate that collagen is broken down will also be slowed.

Other benefits on offer include:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles are less visible
  • Stretch marks are lessened
  • Your skin will appear more youthful, firmer and smoother

As XYZ Smart Collagen is not available for trial, there is not risk of encountering any hidden charges or any unwanted auto-shipments.

  1. I tried and was not happy. I got hit with the charge and sent an email. Because the charges were “pending”, I called my bank and asked them to stop payment on it. Now I am waiting to see if I can stop it.

    • Was not happy when I looked at my bank statement to see I was being unknowingly charged $85 And being placed on a monthly order for it!
There was nothing shown to me in ordering this cream that indicated this would happen! I would not have ordered had I known!
You people really are a bunch of scammers!!

      • I too ordered the sample products via a Laura Spencer (bogus) ad, and was charged the original $4.79 & $5.79 for them to be shipped. However, a week later my debit card was charged an additional $85.20 & $87.50! I called & they told me I only had 16 days to cancel and therefore they wouldn’t refund me the full amount. So, here’s what they do, they take 2 weeks to ship the product and then when you receive it, you are already out of this 18 day period. I told them this and they didn’t care. They told me the “restocking fee” would be $17 for one of the items and $15 for the other .. more than the difference of the credit they would agree to. So, I screamed and yelled, to no avail, and am out $32.50 plus the $10.58 original fee. I am soooo upset with their business scam platform that I don’t even know if the products are any good! We ALL need to report this business to the BBB in hopes they can do something to stop this fraudulent tactic. I am still livid. πŸ™

      • I called phone number provided and ask if there was added orders required before ORDERING and was told …NO….that my order was only for the shipping cost. After agent walked me through order I. ONCE again called to ask of any added orders as I could not find check out items or cost to my credit card, nothing was listed as to charges or items bought. There should have been a notice in shipping of return policy .BUT on web page it is 18 days when I. Ordered I am being told it was 14 days. Had I known this was only a trail offer I would never have taken the offer. If indeed Mr. Jenkins runs an honest business he will put notices in shipping. As I. am 74 yrs. old I had called and had an agent help walk me through the order as I have limited knowledge in computers, ONLY to find out nothing was true she said.

  3. I wish to cancel any orders for dermaskin brands, AvoirrDerma Anti-wrinkle Cream and AvoirDerma Advanced Eye Serum. I have not used the trail that was sent and can send that also back if you wish. Please remove me from your list and do not send any more or charge me for any more than the trial which I paid for.

If in the future I should try the trail and am satisfied with the results, I will notify you.

        • I was charged for a shipping fee and a trial period price. I didn’t order the product. I called the Avoir Derma Company but they refused to refund the shipping fee or the trial size fee. The anti aging cream is new never been opened not used. The advanced eye serum is also new never been opened or used. I was charged for this product that I did not order and I do not want. I was charged more than $50.00 for these two items and would like to find someone that can use the products. I am willing to sell these two

  5. DO NOT BUY: Avoir Derma is a rip off and doesn’t work. My skin and eyes burned and it hasn’t been a pleasant experience and I saw no difference after using it. They used Gwen Stefani’s story and photo to lure me into buying the 2 samples. Guess what if you don’t return it within 14 days your account is automatically charged $87.50 because they really aren’t samples it’s the real size. I had my bank fraud department put a hold on the $87.50 and cancelled my card. The number to call to cancel any future recurring payments and shipments is 844-305-9777. If your bank does not catch this as a fraud charge immediately you will unfortunately be out the shipping and the $87.50. I was lucky hope you will be too! Good Luck!

    • I Marilyn, thank you for the post in reference to Avoir Derma, indeed it is rip off. I was very specific at the time I ordered the “free trial sample ” of the face creme and the eye serum that I did not want auto ship..I simply wanted to try the products. I did so and called as soon as I received them that I did not want auto ship, but the customer service rep said I could only cancel after 14 days and I still have to send the used product back…fine with me! I like the product, just not at the price and with the auto ship. Thank you so much for the phone # to cancel product. I emptied the containers into smaller containers and am sending the empties back tomorrow. Heh,heh

      • I called the number to question my charges. I spoke to a very polite lady and expressed my dissatisfaction with the product. I told her that I did not see anything that told me it would be an on-going order, nor did I see anything about a “trial period”, and the products. (Yes, I ordered 3 “trials”). I told her that I felt as if I had been scammed and that I would report them to the BBB. She said she respected my response. I told her that I felt very disrespected and she offered to cancel my future orders and refund my money. I promptly received 3 emails confirming her promises. DO NOT BUY THESE PRODUCTS!

  8. Boy, did I learn a lesson today! A “FREE” sample is different from a “TRIAL” sample! And it cost me $22.50+$5.79 S&H for not reading the itty, bitty, print! I have so much to say about this! When I ordered it, I thought it was a “FREE” sample for only $5.79 S&H! Little did I know, it was a “TRIAL” sample, and that it was a full sized jar! I didn’t know I had to call back within 14 days to cancel, or I would be charged $87.50 for my “TRIAL” sample! Then when I noticed the charge on my card I, of course, called them right away to tell them I didn’t order anything else, and wanted a refund and that is when they put me through the “FREE” sample and “TRIAL” sample University class! I went and looked and at the bottom of the page in itty bitty print it said terms and conditions! I don’t believe the page where I ordered it on Facebook had the terms and conditions on it, or I would NOT have ordered it! I am a senior citizen and can’t afford a product that costs $87.50! And I can’t see itty bitty print! They sure know how to take advantage of us older people! Anyway, she said they would credit me $65 so, my “FREE” sample turned out costing me $22.50+$5.79 S&H! Imagine how many people are falling for this and how rich this company is getting off of that itty bitty print! Know what she told me? Just look at it as getting the “TRIAL” sample for $22.50 plus $5.79 S&H instead of $87.50 plus S&H! Oh, yeah, I feel alot better now! NOT! :/

  10. Yes this is a SCAM! I did not agree to a subscription, just the offer to try for shipping and handling of the face cream only, (5.79) then the eye serum was added on automatically with an additional shipping charge (4.78) although they were packed and shipped in the same box! . It was stated that this was the product line created by Pricilla Chan, wife of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg. This is a LIE. My CC was charged 87.50 and 85.20 and I am disputing. Again…this IS A SCAM.

  11. This is a big scam and this should not be allowed on Facebook .
As everyone else I ordered a free sample of the creams and to my surprise
was charged the full amount. The creams are not good enough to cost
over 200.00 dollars . I do not wish anyone else to be taken by this SCAM.
Please, please do not send any product to my door or charge for it because
I will take legal action against the company.

  12. The advertising for Avoir Derma is VERY misleading. I thought I was paying for a sample instead of a trial subscription. My bank denied the $87.50 charge, and I sent the “sample” back.
And besides that, I doubt that it works!

  13. The advertising for Avoir Derma cream is VERY misleading. I thought I was paying shipping cost for a “free” sample, not a trial subscription. 14. I only requested a trial size to try this product. They said I had to give them my credit card number so that they could charge the shipping fee. Then they sent me a large amount. Because I tried it I felt obligated to pay the charges on my charge card that they billed without my authorization for the first month. It was very expensive and did not work at all. Now I have received another this month. I will be contacting the company to get a “RMA” number to send it back. I will also be including a letter that I do not want to be on their mailing list. I will also tell them I want them to credit my credit card account once they receive the product back. If I have to I will cancel my present credit card and get a reissue if need be to get these people off my back. Wish me luck. This product is a HUGE rip off

  16. This is a total scam – I did not sign up for the trial but it says I did so I was billed for the items. as soon as I saw the charge on my card I called and said I never signed up they swore I did and I had to cancel. I did cancel but then they charged my card again 2 times one for eye and 1 for face cream about 170 total I called again and told them to stop and they said they would but would not refund me and I never received any product, not that I would want it.

Shame on me for not reading better and shame on me for ordering! But shame on them for not making it very obvious what next steps would happen! I was led to believe that I would be receiving a sample size not a full-size and I guarantee you I never once saw a price for the full size ANYWHERE!

Their product and payment disclosure is much to be desired!

  20. I was delighted to see the product from Shark Tank and a free trial so I sign up for the free trial, then I was told I had to pay shipping and handling. That’s not free in my book! When the product got here I tried it and I tried it and I tried it and it does not work! it is garbage! so I called to cancel it, I had only received it 3 days ago, then I was told that I couldn’t cancel it. When I told him I was going to call the bank with fraud charges if they charge my bank account he gave me a number to put on the package and told me to send it back but if I wanted to keep it he would charge me a discounted price?! that’s not what I was told when I ordered a free trial of this product! I will gladly send it back but I will not pay for shipping and handling to send it back also as I paid for it to get here on a free product this is not worth your time effort and money wishes anything this is garbage don’t waste your money and their customer service are vulgar and rude!!! I’m calling the Better Business Bureau in the health department this is had me break out in a rash and burn my face.

Thank Goodness someone mentioned to me that it was a scam deal, that they would automatically take the money from my bank account within 14 days. So, I unsubscribed, then unsubscribed to their email. Also called the company, they were rude and kept telling me to unsubscribe, which I did already, that’s why I was calling them to make sure they did not take money automatically out from my bank. Well that was all just a waste of time, because, they automatically took out 187.00$…. just 14 days later.
I call my banking institute, and charged it back to the company… I will not let them get away with such false advertisement! How deplorable, shame on you!!

  38. TOTAL SCAM! I looked all over the free trial page to see if it was one of those cancel by a certain time or be charged/continuous automatic shipment type deals. If it was on the page, I couldn’t find it. Also, no information regarding that on the shipping info. either. I called after my account was charged $87.50 to cancel and get the RMA number, and the man was unwilling to give me one, or let me return the products. I paid what they asked for, for the trial, and believed that was it. The customer service rep then said he would waive some of the fee, and only charge me $40.00. I still said no, and he basically told me there was nothing I could do. I had to cancel my credit card, and I filed a fraud complaint. Also, the customer service rep said that I needed to cancel in 14 days, but the web page said 18. I assumed it was 18 days from receiving the product, but even if it was time of purchase, today is the 18th day, and I should have been able to cancel.

Well you know the answer to that, they would not assist said I agreed to monthly orders, which I did not. Scam do not order, you will get a monthly charge. 44. I signed up for their free trial and paid for shipping. I liked the skin cream and eye serum, but it wasn’t life changing. If I had known how much it really cost, I would have never tried it. I didn’t know about the 14 day trial period. They made it sound like they were sending me 14 days of the product. And then at 2:30am, they charge my credit card for almost $180. My credit card company called me the next morning because they believed it was a fraudulent charge. I did too because I had no idea what the charges were for. My credit card was deactivated and they are sending me a new card. Today is when I looked at my statement and realized it was charges for the skin cream. I was so angry and have gone back and forth with a customer service representative all day. I offered to send it back, but since I had already opened it, they wouldn’t take it. If it is a free trial, how can you use it without opening it? I told them they were being absurd. If it was okay for me to just keep it after 14 days, what was another week going to matter? I told them I wouldn’t pay, and they just keep telling me to call them to discuss the charges. So my review is DON’T DO IT!

I did get the 2nd item out but there was no policy given to me that I now had a subscription!!! I got the sample in May. I now received another order for over 87.00!!! I called and was told that I signed up for it and he could prove it. Don’t try to go after them as they are covered with my OKaying. He would walk me through and show me what I checked. To me, that is a lie and they could show me anything they wanted. He told me to check my spam. I had checked that and the only email I saw at all was one he just sent me. I am paying sadly as I could not get a full refund and I am stuck with the postage back. This is disgusting and I am extremely angry. I told him I was going to the AG office and BBB. He said, they would not refund at all if I did. I agree DON’T DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE. The product is not any better than any other I have tried.

  46. Products were delivered yesterday.

Well I just got off the phone. He asked if they were sealed. Then told me I have to pay a 30% restocking fee. After a few words he said no restocking fee because I am within the trial period.

I asked him how he sleeps at night doing this to people. He replied β€œIt is explained in the Terms and Conditions”.

Now I pay to return them and no more fees hopefully.

    What an awful awful scam.

  47. Yes, this is a scam! When I called for a refund of the $85 for each product. They only refunded $60 for the skin cream and $60 for the eye serum. What happened to the additional $50?

  48. I ordered this trial on 6/29 It shipped 7/2. Today 7/17 I seen a pending 87.00 in my checking account. I called to cancel and was told they allow 4 days shipping and 14 day trial and I was past the time to cancel. How does that work? He pulled out all the stops. Do not buy this trial!!!!

  49. Consumers…close your credit card and get a new one. You do know you can go through your credit card company and refute the payment.
Come on adults…stop being so desperate about getting these fake youth products. Go natural, save your time on looking for a youth making unreal miracle product in a jar.

  50. STAY CLEAR OF THIS PRODUCT AND COMPANY!!!!
you will regret it almost immediately, the product is inferior in my opinion, howeer thats not the part that will get you. You will be charged monthly re occuring fees that you may not be aware of. If you dispute it, you will be told it is your problem and that you should have read the fine print. Customer service reps will patronize you and at all cost avoid acknowelging that you have been tricked. I didn’t even know until the 3rd charge that I was in a reoccuring program. (because i was charged 3x’s before the 2nd shipment even arrived) The 1st charge for the try their product for $5.90 will suddenly cost you $87.50 and by the time you realize whats happened it will be past thier “Trial Period” and according to them there is nothing that can be done. I tried to call thier dispute/return number 12 times only to get circuits are busy or dissconnected without an answer. I went around and called the sales number(which they answered immediately) and found that the sales reps are obviously aware of the problem and appear to be reading of a script to wear you down. Don’t accept anything they say. Dispute the charges. cancell and get a new credit card immediately if you do not wish to loose further money. “Coveat Emptor”

  52. I sent for a free sample of antiagelesswrinklecream. I paid shipping. After that they billed me $87.50 a month. They would not credit my account and if I returned the product, I would have to pay over $17. It is an ongoing dispute.

  53. I also was taken in by this scam. I keep getting charged for a “subscription”. I was taken in
by the “trial” where only had to pay the shipping charge. I am still trying to get them to
stop charging me and now has been cancelled for the second time per telephone call and email verification. Very disappointed and frustrated in the whole process.
