Is the Atheno Skin trial offer a scam? Our review reveals all

Is the Atheno Skin trial offer a scam? Our review reveals all

According to their website, Atheno Skin is “your secret to younger and healthier looking skin”.

How does this product work, and is it as effective as it is claimed to be?

If you are tempted by its claims then I would suggest that you continue reading. Our review will reveal the truth behind the hype.

Claimed benefits of Atheno Skin

To be fair, Atheno Skin does not make many outlandish claims. However those it does make are designed to entice you into signing up for the offer as quickly as possible.

The claims include:

  • May help enhance moisturisation
  • May help support the skin

To check the accuracy of these claims I would recommend that your next step is to look at the ingredients that have been used.

Ingredients found in Atheno Skin

Atheno Skin lists the following ingredients as being present:

Purified Water, Isopropyl Myristate, Glycerin, Stearyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Dimethicone, Ceteareth 20, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Ceramide3, Ceramide6II, Ceramide1,Phytosphingosine, Cholesterol, Sodium Lauroyl Lactylate, Carbomer, Xanthan Gum, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance, Potassium Sorbate, Tocopherol Acetate, Sodium Benzoate, Triethanolamine, Disodium EDTA Polysorbate 20, Sodium Hyaluronate, Cyclopentasiloxane, Palmitoyl Oligopeptide, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7, Retinol Palmitate (Vitamin A Palmitate), Lactamide MEA, Rosemary Extract, Balm Mint Extract

You will see many of these ingredients being used in other anti-ageing products so I can certainly see some benefit to using this product.

True cost of the Atheno Skin trial

This is not a free trial, and the actual price may shock you.

While the initial cost is low at just $4.95, this only covers a 14 day period.

Once this trial period has ended you will be charged the full purchase price of $89.95, while also being placed onto an auto-ship program.

This means that further monthly deliveries and charges will be sent to you.

These will continue until you contact Atheno Skin to cancel.

Is the Atheno Skin trial offer a scam?

Would we recommend this trial offer? Unfortunately not, and that is due to one reason alone.

While there is likely some benefit to using this product, the fact remains that this product is very expensive. Especially when compared with similar products.

I would recommend that you look for an alternative.

  1. This company – Atheno – is a scam. When I was suddenly being charged repeatedly for an item that I did not purchase, I was provided no assistance in resolving the matter. I was actually told that other callers were of more importance. Beware!

    • I was also being charged repeatedly for an item that I did not purchase, I was provided no assistance in resolving the matter.

  2. Beware! When you call to cancel, they don’t process the cancellation, then when you call them back because it wasn’t cancelled, they say there is no record of a call to cancel. Get the name of the rep you talk to and ask for a cancellation code. Or better yet, don’t fall for their scam in the first place like I did.

  3. This happened to me. I thought I was just getting a free sample plus shipping and started getting the products. When I called to say I didn’t sign up for anything, they said since I didn’t call back and cancel, I would be receiving this product. Now I’ve been charged almost $200 for products I won’t be using! DO NOT FALL FOR THIS. If they included this info on the website it must have been so small because I sure didn’t see it.

  4. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE… Broke my face out, called and canceled cont. to deliver now will not take the product back and I am out of over 300.00. Said I never canceled had to contact our CC company to get it canceled. Told us to enjoy, that it was ours. Sad excuse for a business!

  5. See Binnie on December 11, 2017. The same thing happened to me. When I called, I was told that the 30 day supply was supposed to last me until Dec. 5th. BUT, I was supposed to call back by Dec 1st to cancel. When I called to inquire about the $89.95 charge on my credit card and said I did not remember seeing anything about calling to cancel within 30 days, I was told to check the website (www.athenoskin.com) and I would see the instructions about calling to cancel. However, after accessing the website, I could not see anything about that. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SHAMELESS SCAM. I could see no difference in my skin from my normal skin care.
